Nice for the price. They do come apart making washing them easier. But if I could do it over again, I’d bite the bullet and go high-end for weight and durability. I think the first time my husband uses them may be the last.

We bought this shears to cut dried chicken dog treats. Unfortunately, it was not strong or sharp enough to cut through it, but we could use it for other kitchen veggies.

I have a titanium version of this shears from the same brand and love it. Wanted to get a second pair but can’t find it on Amazon so I ordered the stainless steel version. After the first use, it started to rust. Since then, despite drying it after every use, rust still keeps coming back. I really DO NOT recommend this shears.

I bought these, because I had another pair of Trudeau kitchen sheers which I (ugghh) ruined. These are No where near the quality of my old pair. My older pair which I’d had for YEARS was still sharp (prior to afore mentioned ruining). This pair, at brand new right out of the bag, off the cardboard were no where near as sharp. I give them a 3 because, they do cut. . . mostly.

These are great kitchen scissors! It’s nice to have a set that you can use with raw meats etc and be able to take it apart to properly clean them. Sharp enough that there’s no issue cutting through plastic or cardboard. Definitely recommend. We bought two sets.

Bought this in store a while back and hubby lost these in the garden, so here I came to find them again. Excellent kitchen scissors that separate and are *totally* dishwasher safe. Unlike every other brand that says “hand wash and dry immediately*, these have never rusted ever. Use, take apart, throw in the dishwasher, and they come out perfect. Why that is so dang hard to get in a kitchen utensil is beyond me. I should probably buy another to keep for when DH forgets again and loses them in the shop. 🙄

The last pair of Trudeau scissors that I owned didn’t come apart when you opened them all the way. I would totally prefer that. I realize the scissors are supposed to be easier to clean if the two halves separate, but really, how hard is it to clean scissors? They have come apart in my hand several times now when I didn’t want them to and I probably would not buy them again and opt for scissors that don’t come apart. Perhaps Trudeau should consider selling at least one pair of scissors that DO NOT separate?

It’s a quality kitchen shears. The one it replaced (also Trudeau Maison, about 20 years old) had a sheath or whatever that you could hang on the wall with the shears in it for easy access. This one doesn’t have that, and sadly, doesn’t fit in the older shears’ sheath. But it’s a perfectly fine shears. Not sure what the point or value is in making it detachable – you can clean it perfectly well without detaching. But it’s a perfectly good shears.
