Nature’s Bounty Absorbable Magnesium 400mg, Multi-coloured, 125 Softgels

This is the first time ordering this brand of magnesium pills. I will say I was a bit surprised at the size of the capsule, alittle nervous to swallow it. But I did and for the size of capsule it was very easy to swallow, it just slipped down with no problems, I am assuming it was so easy because the capsules have a soft gel outer coating. There is a liquid in the soft gel coating. I took a capsule before bed last night, and I had a great night sleep without waking half way through the night. I have tske these pills before with a different brand and I find they ate really good, they help to relax u and give u a good night sleep with no side affects on the morning..I really enjoy this type of magnesium. I willmot be without again..I may also add that my leg cramps, and restless leg syndrome disappears too. This is a great plus for me.

I have used this for a long time, at first I used it because I learned that certain medications that I had been put on after an accident depleted me of certain minerals, this is one of them. I learned from my massage therapist (registered) that magnesium really helped with muscle cramps. She had a magnesium spray that she’d put on my sore muscles and my charlie horses from the accident.
Magnesium pills make you sleepy. I’ve read the reviews that say these don’t work but I know they do because they help with charlie horses and they make me sleepy and very few things work to make me sleepy. I’m not someone who is prone to the placebo effect: these work.
I have also found that I can remove the magnesium from the capsules and put the into a bath or a spray to help myself with my pain. I have a great deal of pain so this is extremely useful knowledge. It should also be noted that some people feel a stinging sensation when exposed to magnesium on their skin so test it on a small patch before you get into the bath with it. I don’t experience the stinging at all but my husband does. Also note that this magnesium causes the stinging in those who are susceptible to it and that’s another way to tell that it’s legit magnesium.
This is a useful supplement for many reasons. I suggest that you try taking it before bed if you have a hard time sleeping. It doesn’t help me every time to get to sleep but it sometimes is enough to get me there and for people who have insomnia and pain, you know the value of every time you sleep.

They are magnesium. They are gel. They are black. They are huge. If this was the only pill I took it wouldn’t be a problem. But I take other vitamins and this one is the biggest of them all. I’m almost through the bottle but will not be getting these again. In my opinion, smaller is better.
