8 books in one! Easy to understand. Good illustrations.
Nothing about solar power whatsoever. That was weird.
Otherwise I love this book.

Great reference book to have with my container of solder, parts, and electronic junk. Seems to have everything in it for basic reference and considering the enormity of the content I’m pleased. I bought a ‘used’ copy off of Resale for about 20% off. The cover was half detached. Hmmm… there’s this stuff from the old days called GLUE that fixed that plus stick-on laminate from the darn dollar store firmed up the durability of the book for a paperback. I’m happy with it. Sure we can look up stuff online, but an all in one hardcopy source means you’ve got the basic goods if there’s an internet outage or whatever. I only looked through the book but it’s like 800 pages and I’m very pleased with the hardcopy reference it provides. I love it. And sheesh. I got a discount requiring some GLUE. Had to laminate it anyway so now it’s in great condition. Very pleased.

I used this book as a reference book. Awesome book and a must have book. I received it on good condition.

What an excellent tome for anyone wishing to embark on the Electronics journey, you will learn things about electricity that you never thought possible! Very comprehensive and lucid – and you don’t have to read it in any order either, just dip in and find out what you want (although I must admit, I read it cover to cover). An extremely, extremely interesting read for anyone interested in electronics: contains more useful information than books prices way more, and a lot easier to understand

After searching every nooks and crannies of the web, and trying a couple electronic books, i can’t tell you that this is the one.
I love the way the author describes the components and diagrams, it makes it very easy to understand.
I wasn’t sur i wanted a 950 pages-book on electronics but I had it for a week now and I’m almost done.
It’s really worth it

Very good book for beginners which explains the basics from the beginning.

It’s a basic book that’s easy to understand and few dad jokes thrown in. The multimeter tutorial (and a couple other topics) were a bit vague so I supplemented them with some you tube.
It is a good idea to order a basic “breadboard kit” and multimeter when ordering the book for the lab projects that start in the first couple chapters. I also wish I had some other components such as 555 integrated circuits.
I’m overall enjoying the book, it’s much fun as it is a huge book.
