Lovely watch !

I gave this a shot because the A-158 was too small for my wrist and this is just perfect at 41mm !

Also, the bracelet is really good for the price, reminds me of the Tissot PRX.

Overall the watch is very versatile, can be worn for work, or if you have a nice place to be and you want a simple but beautiful time piece that gives you accurate time.

Only wish it had mineral or sapphire crystal but it’s all good given the price.

This watch is a simple, pragmatic design. Fairly basic feature set, for those who want a basic timepiece. The wrist band is quite comfortable and its size can be adjusted using a small prying tool such as a flathead screwdriver. The illuminator function is very interesting! The light itself is amber; when activated, the screen’s power reverses polarity and shows a negative display – white numbers on a black background. This is a very clever feature which allows for a clear display even though the blacklight is relatively dim. Overall, this is a smart looking, simple watch for those who want to see the time and date, but not a lot of other features. Well worth its price!

Easy to read, easy to operate, classic style.

Very easy to turn hour beeps and alarm on and off, set the time, switch between AM/PM and 24H format.
I really like the style of this watch, and it fits me well. I have larger wrists (~7.75″) and there’s still room to adjust on the bracelet. The bracelet has not been overly grabby on my arm hair.

I’m giving it 5 stars, but here are some points of criticism:
The backlight is from one side only, but it works well enough – the display flips to a negative display when you push the light button, so the digits light up orange rather than the background. It only lights up when the button is pressed, doesn’t stay lit with any delay when you let go. Fairly effective, better than some earlier Casio lights, but Timex Indiglo is still the winner in this department.
The alarm is a single setting only – no multiple alarms, no days of the week schedule. You set an alarm time and it’s either on or off.
Only the bracelet is metal, the casing is silver resin. It blends well enough, just don’t expect all metal.

To me, these criticisms are not real deterrents given the price of this watch, just things to be aware of.

This watch is quite nice, discreet with a clear display of the digits and the adjustment of the strap is easy to handle. I recommand.

It’s a nice watch, east to set the time, I wish the build quality was a little better, I feel I over paid for the watch, the internal light display works well, but the watch housing is made of a light inexpensive plastic with silver paint, the build quality for Casio watches used to be a lot better, but if you want a reliable digital watch that gives you a large display that isn’t going to violate your privacy, that doesn’t require software upgrades, or that you will have to replace in 2 to 3 years because the internal software will no longer update, the watch blows away any smart watch-wrist computer that is manufactured away, wrist computers -smart watches are not wrist watches at all.

Great value for the price. The bracelet took a bit of time to adjust but once that’s figured out, it offered a great fit. The latch is secure and doesn’t open up accidentally. Excellent quality materials on the bracelet; however, the finish on the watch body will wear off over time. The watch face is covered by plastic, not glass. The plastic will flex if pressed on, and can affect the display. The face also scratches easily. Illumination is via an orange LED. I find that it looks great; however, some purists prefer the blue/green illumination previously offered on these watches in the past. This watch gets lots of compliments and pairs nicely with most settings.
