Our dogs love the potato chews!!!! A healthier option to milk bones. They are fresh. We have a Aussie and 2 Scotties so there is a need for sometime with a good chew factor. The Cameron chews are a great value and I wool for them when I order

Read reviews and was concerned about potentially getting some super hard chews but this chew was pretty okay! I could rip it in half but it wasn’t easy. It is a leathery like sweet potato type of chew. It gets a bit hydrated again with moisture. I held a piece and let my dog chew on it because I was afraid he might swallow the whole thing. But it was fine he chewed it slowly. My dog is small, 6lbs so I cut the pieces into small strips for him. It must taste good because he loves it. I also find the single ingredient to be healthy.
The only issue is that sometimes it can get stuck in their teeth when it softens up as they chew. I had to brush my dogs teeth well after this and look inside his mouth for softened pieces that might’ve gotten stuck.

I thought this dog treat would be a great idea for my pop for something different I had two dogs at one point one left sweet potato. Unfortunately my little Yorkie has small teeth very little teeth and I tried my best to help her enjoy this treat that she loved by trying to either soak it to soften it or cut it into smaller pieces but I found that it became a choking hazard so I had to not give it to my particular small dog. But for other dogs I think it’s a great treat maybe for a bigger dog is that chew on those size jerky things either way I always feared any type of dog treat that could be a potential choking hazard. Small pieces are better for natural dried foods. Freeze dried bigger pieces of vegetables and meat is a better option.

So, my dog seems to fricken love these. My observation is that they are just over dehydrated and really hard to chew. Could be bad for dogs that don’t chew food as much. They do taste good though.

The Caledon Farms Sweet Potato Chews have become a regular staple in our dog’s treat drawer.
Our Wheaten Terrier absolutely loves these. They’re one of the few treats he gets genuinely excited about every time. They are bigger than a typical treat, so they keep his attention without being gone in two seconds. I also really appreciate that they don’t smell and aren’t messy, which makes them easy to handle and store.

These were delivered today and they are absolutely hard as a rock, nothing chewy about them. I buy them for my elderly dog that is missing teeth and there is no way she can eat these, they snap when you touch them they are so dried out, oh and they are not eligible for return. Waste of money!!
