My doctor recommended I get ahead of possible…probable bone density loss as I age, and this was the closest to his 600mg he suggested at the best absorption. The pills are huge, but they are lightly coated to aod in swallowing. I can snap them in half if I need to. An ounce of prevention, I feel good about taking these, doc is satisfied with my choice for my needs as well.

This bottle of 280 calcium pills is a large amount for any individual who needs them for themselves. Recommended intake is once a day, usually before or after a meal. These are tasteless and have a smooth and round texture, similar to a regular pill. However, one problem that I personally have with these specific calcium pills is that they are hard to swallow because of their larger than normal pill size. I have an average sized adult mouth, but these pose some difficulty when consumed without drinking water. At least these can be taken only once a day, so it makes up for it. Overall, these pills are great for those who need them, or any person who wants to improve their bone health, and should be considered similar other well known brands, such as Jamieson.

If you take extra vitamins including Vitamin D3, you must buy this calcium tablet, because taking too much Vitamin D3 is not good for your health. So don’t take Vitamin D3 repeatedly.

One of the best calcium supplements I’ve tried. I appreciate that it includes D3, which improves absorption. It’s been gentle on my stomach and keeps my levels where they should be according to recent bloodwork. Canadian quality you can trust. Excellent value.
