I’ve been using this Umidigi G3 Tab Ultra tablet for just over a week and so far, I am really impressed. The 10 inch screen is bright and clear with vibrant colours and it’s really fast for a “budget” device. Is it the best screen available? No, but it looks great to me. Apps open quickly and multi-tasking is a breeze. Is it the fastest available? No, but again it is fast enough for my needs without any lag or slow loading. I am a fairly basic user, browsing web pages, checking email, and watching videos, and this handles everything I need in a tablet. The bezels are large but necessary to hold it without any issues. I like that it comes with a case in the package to help protect it plus a cable and charger. The tablet comes with a headphone jack and can play FM radio with headphones plugged in. I am not using it with a sim card but it does have full 4G sim capabilities. It really has everything, including built-in GPS. The cameras are fine, front and back, although I don’t anticipate taking many photos as I already have a decent camera in my cell phone but this device literally does everything. I keep finding new uses every time I pick it up. I’d say it’s a great budget tablet but I’d go further and say it’s an excellent tablet that happens to be at a lower price. This is a great option for anyone looking to consume media on a larger screen as the 10 inches is much easier on my eyes compared to smaller phone screens. The back gets quite hot when charging so I highly recommend making sure you keep decent airflow around it when charging. Keeping it propped up and not laying flat has helped keep the temperature down and hopefully this will help extend the life of the device and the battery. I am looking forward to using this tablet more and will post any updates if anything changes in my review. I’m sure there are better, higher priced tablets available, but for my needs this tablet from Umidigi is the perfect fit at a good price.

Das Tablet kommt in einem sehr aufgeräumten und übersichtlichen Karton. Darin finden sich neben der Kurzanleitung eine Nadel für den Sim-Kartenslot, ein Ladegerät und das Ladekabel in schickem Rot.
Das Tablet befindet sich bereits in einer Silikonschutzhülle, die perfekt dazu passt. So hat man direkt einen Schutz, ohne noch extra etwas zukaufen zu müssen. Geladen ist es bereits auf ca. 77%, dank Schnellladefunktion mit 18W ist es dann auch recht flott bei 100% angekommen. Eine Ladung hält eigentlich den ganzen Tag durch, dank des üppigen 6000mAh Akkus. Damit kann man ordentlich Binge-Watchen. Es liegt gut in der Hand und bietet sämtliche Funktionen, die auch deutlich teurere Mitbewerber besitzen. Entweder bestückt man es mit zwei Sim-Karten, oder mit einer Sim und einer Micro-SD Karte zur Speichererweiterung. Dank aktueller Android Version sind sämtliche bekannte Apps verfügbar und nutzbar. Netflix, Disney+ und Amazon Prime laufen einwandfrei, das Gerät reagiert sehr flott und flüssig. Selbst aktuelle Spiel wie Genshin Impact laufen einwandfrei. Das Tablet hat also wirklich viel Leistung und ist sogar variabel in der RAMMenge einstellbar. Grundsätzlich reichen die 8GB Onboard Ram aus, man kann sie aber auch auf 16 GB erweitern. Dies klappt einfach per Softwarebefehl. Ansonsten hat man mit 128GB Speicherplatz auch ausreichend Speicher für APps und Medien dabei.
Auch die Kamera ist durchaus solide für ein Tablet und macht ordentliche Fotos. Technisch gibt es hier also kaum etwas zu meckern, vor allem für den durchaus günstigen Preis.
Ich habe eigentlich nur einen Kritipunkt, der aber auch nicht besonders störend ist: Die Stereo-Lautsprecher sind beide an der unteren Seite angebracht. Da man beim Filme schauen doch eher das Querformat nutzt, kommt der Ton dann eben nur von einer Seite. Ist natürlich vom Anwendungsfall abhängig und daher nicht wirklich schlimm.

Ich kann das Gerät absolut nur empfehlen, hat viel Power, viel Speicherplatz und einen großen Akku für lange Laufzeit. Ich bin mega zufrieden damit.

This is a good tab if you get under 70bucks, android 13, good ui, no ads no bloatware. Everything clean, big screen. If you want to watch movies or shows maybe little casual gaming, this is good option, expandable memory and fast charging, only issue i faced was back panel coming off everytime i try to remove the tab cover provided with this tablet. Other than that, it’s pretty awesome

This is a good tablet. For the price this is about as good of a tablet as you can get. The processor is quick and good enough for light gaming. The most demanding games may not run great but most mobile games, Roblox, Minecraft, etc. run perfectly. The Android version is pretty much stock from what I can tell and there is little to no bloatware. When you go to settings and increase the ram by using some memory to expand from 8Gb to 16gb of RAM you shouldn’t notice any slowdowns. Overall it is pretty good.

There are a couple of cons though. They all basically are regarding the accessories that come with the tablet. The pre-installed screen protector is nice. The case itself seems to be pretty protective but there are flaws, mainly that the camera bumps on the tablet stick out farther than the case itself. Very slightly but the case should have at least a 1mm lip to protect the camera lenses. Also this really should be a folio style case. It would be a very small upgrade for Umidigi to add and it would greatly improve your experience. First a folio case would protect the screen better when putting it into a bag and it would enable it to have a stand for consuming media. With a larger brand name device there are tons of options made for them but for a Android tablet like this one there aren’t many cases available unless you want to go with a universal case which, universally, are not very good. Also the included usb cable is very flimsy and quite frankly trash. With that being said all cables that come with devices are basically trash. I really wish companies would start including better cables.

Overall the tablet itself is good and a great price point. The only things that decrease it’s rating and hurt the user experience are the included accessories which could be a lot better with little added cost to Umidigi.

En revisant la date d’achat Août 2024, la tablette fonctionne entendant les sons et le vibe pour redémarrage mais plus d’écran sauf du bleu pâle à peine perceptible à l’oeil. J’vais tenter d’ouvrir la tablette étant technicien en électronic 1984. Refaire les contactes. Umidigi pour moi, scrappe. Je retourne dans les smartphone écran 6 pouces. J’pensais m’être facilité le visuel avec un écran 10 pouces, LOL !
