There is a lot of play in our Thermador oven’s temperature dial so we were never too sure what the actual temp in the oven is. I bought this to check oven temps and it has been extremely helpful, especially for baking.

Works well. Our oven has lost all it’s markings so we’ve been guessing until this.
It’s very accurate but does need a few minutes to stabilise at the real temperature, once the ovens heating light has turned off.
Size wise, it’s not tiny, the numbers are readable through the oven door but if you have any vision issues it might not be for you.

Small. If you’re looking for large lettering, this product is not for you. Hooks well to oven rack as well as sitting on the rack. Place in centre of oven or you might get a false reading by putting it near to oven sides or too close to the top of oven. Rather lightweight. Pretty accurate readings. Pleased all in all.
