The watch is beautiful as expected, but I am very disappointed in the rapid deterioration of the strap and the very easy scratching of the face. I have had many Swatch over the years and the strap always goes bad eventually, but this is the fastest that I have had a strap start to peel and the face get so scratched. I do wear it 24/7, but that is no excuse. See pics for how it looks after only 5 months of use. So much for the fancy strap material they boast about…

I love this watch – it is very attractive and comfortable to wear. It is based on a Turner painting. The sun and water ripples change color over time. The Tate Gallery in London is one of my favorites so this watch brings back memories of my visits.

I love a Swatch. I ordered this because it was different. More decorative, less sporty. Very pleased with the appearance. When I ordered I did not realize the sun/moon and water ripple would gradually (over several days) change colors. I thought I had broken it somehow. But no, it is part of the design and charm. I catch myself looking at it numerous times during the day. Not to check time but to look at the beautiful scene and see if the colors are started to change.
