Squatty Potty Original Toilet Stool 2.0 Base 7″, White, 1 Count

Who’d have thought putting your feet in a 7″ stool while doing your business would help! It really does! I got the 7″ model for a standard height toilet and I’m 5’9. Highly recommend product to ease straining and make things easier. Does take a little getting used to, but only a time or two.

I ordered 2. One arrived very dirty and missing the rubber feet. The company first said they would not offer support because I bought it through Amazon, and when I followed up and insisted on support, they said they also don’t have replacement rubber feet. So that one is garbage. Amazon refunded me. The other was in good condition. The shape is only OK. It’s narrower than the original design, which is a step in the wrong direction. Maybe good if you have a really small space and need something more compact. But I found the original more … effective for its purpose. Unfortunately the top of this 2.0 model is so slippery, even with those ridges, so your feet slip off, and then it’s sort of useless. The older model has a more textured top, and your feet stay in place. I’ll add some non-slip shower stickers onto the one I’m keeping. I don’t recommend this 2.0 model unless you really need something compact and are willing to add something on top that makes it more grippy for your feet. Otherwise, get the original, which seems to be available from other vendors.

It took a bit to get used to it. I felt like my knees were in the ceiling. However as time wore on it felt natural and I began to have the most smooth and extremely large bowel movements of my entire life. It was as if I had been freed from the constraints of the western worlds “proper” bathroom habits. There is obviously a reason why most of the world squats and poops into a toilet in the floor. The new freedom of totally emptiness and clarity was reflected in my fresh ability to enjoy life unencumbered by my previous inability to totally evacuate my bowels of the stool that lay within. Aside from the extra flushing due to the enormity of my feces and rather putrid stank of my waste there are no drawbacks. The frowning and scowling of my wife after I take a trip to heaven on the squatty potty can be off putting but in the end my anus and rectum will be preserved and the intrusion of hemorrhoids and anal fissures are no longer a problem or possibility going forward to my anus or rectum or bowels. Praise be squatty potty keep up the good work. You are doing gods work. Perhaps Bluetooth connectivity in the future to be able to track and monitor ones stooling. The squatty potty does provide additional comfort. However, my qualm is with the non-slip feature… I like how the stool itself is non-slip to the floor, but the top of the stool is just smooth plastic and I find that my socks slip on it really easily and it doesn’t provide a good foundation.

I also have to say, the item arrived with one of the non-slip feet missing. It still works the same and it isn’t noticeable, but be sure to check for the little grey feet before throwing out the packaging!

Good quality, good size tucks at the base of toilet for storage.

Easy to clean

Missing 2 rubber stoppers on the feet, but otherwise appears to be the real deal. We prefer the 7 inch high to the 9 inch model. Hard to come by these days.

Serves its purpose well.
