Some reviews here have pictures that don’t seem to match the picture of the actual product shown on Amazon. Mine came and looked exactly like the product and it works great

There are several issues with this unit that may not be apparent. This is from a woman’s perspective.

Assembly was ok, I managed to do this on my own. Some of the bolts provided did not match the bolts that were described in the instructions so I had to figure that part out myself.

The first major issue are the pulleys, the wheels do not turn smoothly. Because the center rotating part is flush with the wheel itself, when you tighten the bolts, it compresses against the side of the wheels making them stick. I had to loosen all bolts so much so I worry they will completely come loose with use.

The second issue is the seat is not adjustable and the pec station is too high, and the chest press station way too low. I have to stand to use the pec which hurts because my inner legs have to straddle the seat and that is painful. The chest press is just so low, it doesn’t really work out the chest.

Another issue is the leg extension. Because the pulleys underneath do not line up perfectly, but are slightly in a zig zag position, it makes using the leg extension difficult with high weight because you aren’t pulling in a straight line (the cables run on angles and rub the side of the wheels). The leg extension also tends to lift up when you use the additional low pulley, which is super annoying. I have to put my feet on the lower leg press foam while I do back rows to hold the leg extension from raising!

There are also times when the weight stack does not come down level, and so the middle rod where you put your pin in to adjust the weight, comes down a bit off and so hits the bottom weights, so you have to relift the weight and hope it comes down straight. So it seems to me that whatever is used inside the weights themselves is not perfectly level which makes the weight stack shift a bit when lifted. As a side note, some of the weights had a weird grainy oily coating all over them (not sure if that is because one of them leaked somehow so I had to wipe them down).

I also find this station to be wobbly. Because it’s just one bar on top and one bar on the bottom there is nothing to stabilize this unit, and so it does wobble a bit.

I thought the cage around the weights would be handy for safety (I have cats) but on certain moves, the weight stack bangs against the top cap of the cage and the whole thing comes crashing down! The cage could have went a bit higher in my opinion. This also brings up the issue that some moves are not possible with the current length of the cables. I had to purchase additional chain to lengthen some attachments for certain exercises to avoid the weight hitting the top of the stack.

Oh, I know it was mentioned in the details, but it was super annoying that the boxes did not all arrive on the same day! It did come quickly, and luckily I was working from home that week, but I was really annoyed that I got only one box on the first delivery.

Overall, for the price, this is not a unit I would recommend. I would have returned it, but my hubby threw away the boxes and once fully assembled it only took a day before my cats scratched the bench and foam. I can work around some of these issues, but for the price I feel I have to do too many adjustments which are super inconvenient which makes me not want to workout, which defeats the purpose of why I bought this unit! Would not recommend.

Edit: After a week of using this unit, I can confirm that this is not a good unit at all! Do not buy this unless you want to be fighting with your equipment instead of getting a good workout. The low pulley wire has already stripped (brittle plastic coating) and the whole unit wobbles terribly! I’m very unhappy with this purchase!

I’m really happy with this purchase, the unit is sturdy and the exercises are good. I couldn’t find instructions for all 30 something claimed, but the 6-7 I understood are plenty enough for me to greet busy for a while. A perfect addition to my home gym.
Assembly is not really hard (have seen worse), but you’d definitely benefit having someone helping you along the way.

Anything made in China is guaranteed for One Year and that’s all you need to know..Think about it.
EDIT:
After using this Home Gym for 3 months I would not reccomend it to anyone due to poor welding and poor fitment of the Pull Unit AXLE that does not fit securely and moves a lot when exercising.
Also,the Pin that locks Pull unit does not fit securely in the pin hole of the Upright Support Tube extension.
