What an awesome desk! Although it might be lightweight, it’s perfect for a teen. The led light strip and included outlet with dual USB power inputs make me recommended this.
Very simple and easy to assemble. Some points may require an extra hand to hold things in place but no biggie. Extra screws, included tools and they even included a white glove to keep things clean?!
The PC shelf can go on either left side or right. Plenty of room for dual monitors, a tablet and a makeup station.
My daughter loves it and am happy I purchased this for her.

To my surprise the wood included in it (I chose the wood design, Unsure about the black and carbon ones) was secure. It was heavy, solid and sturdy and not like plywood that comes on IKEA desks. It has a nice gloss finish and is so smooth with no nicks in the wood at all.

I read some reviews about it being unsturdy, I didn’t have much issues – though I’m on carpet. Sure you can make it wiggle; I wouldn’t have a racing wheel attached to it but it’s nothing drastic and doesn’t squeak. I ensured I tightened all the bolts.

I also read some reviews saying there were gaps. I only had one slight gap (see pictures) and it was in a spot where it’s not an issue and uncontrollable due to the already in place bolts underneath the top layer. I was worried theres be some gaps or bumps on the main counter top part but it’s surprisingly smooth and your mouse won’t be in contact with these seems anyway.

There was a concern with one of the metal legs, as you can see in the photos it was kinda bent. After tightening with everything else, it all fit together but it was significant enough for me to call this damaged and should be looked at. It seems the weld was cracked and bent in.

The other minor issue is a chip in the top shelf corner (again see pictures). It’s not very large but unfortunately it’s on the visible part of the top shelf.

The LED strips were something I totally forgot this came with but is a cool addition and likely something I didn’t know I’d want or need. It does help when I don’t want too much light in the room. The remote and everything works perfectly and was easy to instal.

All in all I’m satisfied with this purchase. $160 for a brand new desk of this size is can’t beat. And it’s surprisingly solid and good looking. Fairly easy to instal with one person as well.

Pain in my ass to put together but boy was it worth it, wiggles a bit but it’s nice and big, tall enough and had a nice outlet in the front. Instructions were alright, im just a lil slow

This is a great sturdy desk that I use for my Gaming set up. The LED lights look and work great and the power strip is a great addition. Easy set up with straightforward directions. I had no difficulty although I recommend having a second person help. I do wish the set came with washers, but other than that, great desk, and product overall.

Construction
The instructions are very straight forward however you have to really pay attention to the details. Make sure the holes are in the right spot and everything is facing the same direction as shown in the instructions. I built this desk by myself, but I would have a second person helping, especially with holding pieces up and setting up the second layer.

Note that this desk can be built 2 ways, the 2nd way is just mirroring the 1st design. I would make sure to measure the area and decide which way you want the desk constructed. I would note if you want your PC to rest on the bottom shelf or if you plan to use a stand for your pc under the desk. I would also note that when prompted to install the power extender, make sure to put in the screw BEFORE putting the 2nd layer desk on top otherwise it would be very difficult to put in the screws unless you have a very short screwdriver. I wish that the kit came with washers. I wanted to buy washers as soon as I noticed that there were none as I was afraid to bend the metal when screwing them in. I was not sure if the screws were made big enough to fasten properly if they had washers but having built the desk, can confirm they would work fine with the washers. (I did not bend the metal while building the desk)

LED Lights/Power Strip
The LED lights are packaged with the table but you have to attach them after you finish building the table. Highly recommend having a second person help. The lights are easy control with the remote however there are no instructions that explain the buttons. If you plan on doing anything besides using one of the 20 colors, there are videos online the explains all the buttons. The LED lights can connect to the power strip that comes with the desk however the cord sticks downward so you would either be covering another outlet or the USB ports on the power strip.

Decorating/using desk
The desk itself is very stable, the design of the surface (black) looked very obnoxious and distracting in the pictures, but having it in person, the design is neither distracting nor obnoxious. There are headphone holders for the side of the desk that can be screwed onto either side of the table no matter which way you build it, although I haven’t used them.

Anything else to buy?
I would recommend getting washers for the screws if you’re afraid to bend the metal or enjoy using washers. If you plan on having this desk on hardwood floor, I recommend getting scratch pads or floor protectors.

Very easy to setup. The instructions say to do it with 2 people but I did it by myself with no issues. All the parts are there and labeled. Everything was packaged very nicely. Nothing was damaged. And everything fit as it should. Very sturdy and not wobbly at all. The lights are great. The only thing I wish is when the top shelf was made that it came with a slight grove for the lights to set into. Or if the lights were pre installed. But definitely not a problem the way it is. Just something I thought about. This desk has lots of room for your things and pc. Not a child size desk. I put my pc up high because I have pets. So higher the better for me. But otherwise it would fit perfectly in the shelf’s ( mine are installed on the left) so far I have nothing negative to say about this desk setup.

It’s a decent desk, and I’m really happy with it. The app you use to control the lights isn’t all that user friendly though, and they aren’t as bright a long as it looks in the photo. It was a pain to put together, but it’s a sturdy desk. It looks quite nice as well.
