I got this microphone to use with my video calls with work. I was made aware that my previous microphone didn’t sound very good and I wasn’t very clear. So I wanted to get something a little better to try out and see if it improved the clarity of may voice. This mic comes with a small stand that sits on your desk in front of you and has a switch to select between two pickup patterns. This is a nice feature especially if there is other audio noise coming from around you. It will help isolate your voice coming from the front. This works decently too and a very nice option to have. The pickup of my voice is great and from what I hear from my colleagues, it is clear! This is my biggest ask from this and it delivers easily. You don’t need to figure out what is the mic port on your computer as this uses USB for connection and audio transfer to the computer. Just select the mic as the input device and voila. It works great on my PC, Mac as well as Android tablet and iPhone. The RGB is okay. i would have liked to see more options, especially static ones. I like to match things and this I couldn’t match with my setup. Overall though, it is fairly well made, mostly plastic but feels good. Sound is great with it on my desk but I bet even better if you put it on a boom and get it closer to your mouth. Great option for business and play alike.

I picked up this microphone for my work video calls. This mic comes with a small stand that sits right on your desk and has a switch to choose between two pickup patterns. That’s a cool feature, especially if there’s background noise around you. It helps to focus on your voice from the front. The way it picks up my voice is fantastic and comes across clear. Very easy connection to computer via USB. The RGB lighting is just okay; I wish there were more options, especially static ones. Overall, it’s pretty well made—mostly plastic but feels solid. The sound quality is excellent on my desk and I like the provided pop screen.

This is my first ever microphone that wasn’t attached to a headset so for me, this was an awesome upgrade. The light options are many, which really allows me to customise my space the way that lets me work best; this is something I always appreciate in my gear.
As for sensitivity or functionality as a microphone, it’s definitely way better than my previous headset arrangement was. I like that this makes me feel more confident about speaking online. It has a comprehensive manual included for any potential troubleshooting but so far it’s been nothing but flawless fun for me.

I have been using this microphone for a little over a month now and honestly it is absolutely perfect for what I wanted it for. The Microsoft was fairly bare bones, but it’s still made of pretty good materials. It has an RGB lighting to the actual microphone part which slowly changes color. It comes with everything you need in the box and you don’t need to purchase any extra cables or adapters. As for the microphone itself, it has actually improved the audio quality Of my mic. I used to use the built in one to my webcam which got the job done, but this one just retains more of the vocal quality. If you’re using speech to text like I am, then speech quality is very important. I have noticed that the software that I use is able to pick up words more clearly and I’m making less and less mistakes as time goes on. Right now the cost of this microphone is $45.99, in which I believe it’s an excellent deal . If anyone needs a external mic then I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
