Redragon M686 Wireless Gaming Mouse, 16000 DPI Wired/Wireless Mouse with Professional Sensor, 45-Hour Durable Power Capacity, Customizable Macro and RGB Backlight for PC/Mac/Laptop

I bought this mouse to accompany my new gaming PC and the mouse is great. Despite that I have had a few issues with the mouse, the customer service team have been impeccable, they have communicated really well and quickly trying to address the issues with the device. Since it could not be resolved, they have sent out a brand new mouse at no charge and been very honest and decent in their approach.

The mouse itself, while it had a few issues, is very good, has a good choice for customisation, and the buttons feel strong and well designed. It fits well ergonomically too and is generally a really good product. My one was just a faulty batch and the customer service team have done amazingly to rectify the issue.

Excellent mouse. We bought it 6 times now over the years for all family members to replace broken/lost/used up ones and we will keep buying it in the future.

The default settings are not optimal, but it is very easy to make adjustments in the software. We run them in Eco mode and battery lasts for a long time. It comes with a long USB cord making it easy to keep using it while it’s charging. Very comfortable ergonomic design.

It is the best mouse I’ve used since Logitech G700S and I tried 10+ different models before I found this one.
The only thing to make it better would be the same kind of protective frame around the top of the buttons as G700S had to protect buttons from getting bent up when travelling or dirt getting underneath.

This was for my son and he thinks it’s a great mouse with rhe programmable buttons. Great initial first impression. Tracks all the DPI is a little over kill for what he does, and RGB is pretty cool. Good price and value.

Very good wireless mouse with lights. The mouse doesn’t have toe be activated every time when you want to use it, just move it and it’s on and works. You need to recharge the mouse about every 2 to 3 weeks and you can still use it while it is recharging. The right and left click buttons are a bit stiff compared with other mouses that I have used so sometimes you click but nothing happens. The placement of the back and forward buttons is instinctive so that’s great. The app that comes with the mouse is quite good for programming the buttons and seeing the level of the battery. I have used other wireless mouse before and this is the best that I have seen so far.

The mouse itself is actually really good. The only reason why it’s not a five star for me is because I made the mistake of not doing any research about the WEIGHT of this mouse. I’ve used the Red Dragon M601 wired mouse before for years and it still holds up to this very day, the only reason i decided to purchase this mouse was because I decided I wanted to go wireless.

So to save you more time and not reading all that i have to say, i just suggest you look for the difference in weight between what mouse you would be used to and compare it to the M686.

Now onto the comparison between the M601 and the M686:

The first thing i love about the wireless M686 is the fact that i have yet to experience any latency issues, meaning the responsiveness of the mouse is pretty much perfect especially with the price that this thing is at. Another thing that’s great about this mouse is of course the RGB and at first i assumed that the RGB would feel cheap, but it sits right next to my Razer Ornata and both light quality looks the same and it compliments each other even if they’re both from different brands. The battery life on the wireless mouse is definitely pretty long and the best part is that if you ever go afk from your computer, the mouse shuts itself until activity is picked up again so you won’t waste battery you don’t need to. You also have three macro buttons on the side (Mouse4, Mouse5 and Mouse6) which you can all adjust and finally you have a nice thumb rest and rubber grips on the side.

Overall, the only downside i have with this mouse is the fact that’s heavy if you’re coming from a much lighter mouse. If you actually prefer some weight on your mouse then you should be fine.

This is one of the few mice that provide a position for the entire hand, including the ring and pinky finger. This helps with all day comfort. The side buttons on the thumb side are properly positioned for use without reaching! The only issue is that the main top buttons are a bit clunky and not quite as precise as one would like in a new mouse.

Great gaming mouse that performs really well. What i really love is that you can use it connected or wireless. I have big hands ( 4 inches wide ) and it was very difficult finding a mouse that i can just rest my hand perfectly on it. No more wrist pain. The only thing that might bother some people is that the mouse is wide and some people might have a hard time picking it up or of the desk while using it. Plenty of great features on it also. Would buy again for sure.
