Wonderful mechanical keyboard!! I spent WEEKS searching for a simple 100%, hot swappable wired keyboard that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and THIS keyboard is the only one I found that was ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE and very high-quality for the price!

Though others have said that their keyboards came with keycaps in different colours, mine only came with the stock keycaps on the board, and some extra switches. The default colour is not my style, but it’s not hard to find keycaps in your own preferred style and just swap them out, which is exactly what I did.

This is my first ever truly mechanical keyboard after at least 15 years of membrane keyboards, so take my opinion with a grain of salt; the stock switches feel really nice!! They’re honestly not much louder than my steelseries apex 3 membrane keyboard was, and they don’t tire my fingers out when typing or gaming. They seem pretty well lubed right out of the gate, as even after i did my own lubing of a few keys, there really wasn’t much difference in terms of feel or sound.

Having 4 extra system shortcut keys above the numpad is really nice, though i don’t use them as i already have a seperate 24-key macropad with volume control and calculator shortcut, but the ‘sign-in lock screen’ and the ‘show desktop’ keys would be pretty convenient if you need to quickly minimize windows for whatever reason, or step away from your computer for a bit at work or in the living room or whatever.

I LOVE that the lock key lights are in the right space above the arrow keys, having the lock lights RIGHT THERE makes it so much easier to notice I’ve accidentally hit caps lock or disabled num lock, as my aforementioned steelseries keyboard’s lock lights were blocked from view at a ‘normal’ typing angle, so i had no clue if numlock was on or off unless i looked straight down at the keyboard.

LOVE that it’s tri-mode connectivity too! I use it solely wired just because I already have a solely wireless keyboard for ‘away from desk’ control, but having the option of using it either via USB, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz USB dongle receiver is really nice! Connect it to whatever device you want, however you want! Plus, it can work for both Windows and Mac with a literal slide of a switch, so that’s even more convenient for people who switch between them in their day to day lives.

The RGB is really nice with 16 different lighting patterns, 4 speed and brightness settings, as well as a full on-board per-key-colouring option which is quite fun to ‘paint’ different keys with.

TL;DR – If you like full-sized keyboards, and want to give mechanical keyboards a try without needing to take out a small loan, GET THIS KEYBOARD ASAP

(Wife) I’ve only had this kb for less than a week and so far I really like it! The sound isn’t as buttery as I would like but it’s a good ASMR kb. I love that you can check the battery life on it so you know when to charge it. I was actually debating between this one and the one with the LCD screen just for the battery indicator. The LED screen was $15 more so I decided to try this one out. Since we’re talking about the battery, I work about a 9hr day and turn it off after my shift and so far the battery is still at 100% after almost a week!

The key caps aren’t that easy to get off, you do have to struggle with it a bit. As for the backlight, the RGM lights do shine through the letters and you can adjust the brightness level which is nice. There’s also a lot of different lighting patterns you can choose from and you can also set individual colors as well as rainbow.

Set up was surprisingly easy! I’m not very tech savvy and it’s literally just plug and play. You just need to move the switch to Windows or Mac. If I can do it, anyone can LOL. I also like that there’s a spot for you to store the dongle in case you want to use it wired or for travelling.

Received this keyboard today and it was love at first sight!
Good construction, feel and sound sturdy. Keep in mind that this is a 70$CAD keyboard.
Came with a full set of replacement keycaps, 8 red replacement switches, key and switch puller.
After installing the pro software on my computer I could create custom rbg layout on my keyboard and not use the animation that I do not care for.
The keycaps are high quality and the light shine through is consistent and easy to see. There is a difference between the white keys and dark keys in the way that the key writing is lighting but with some creativity with the full set of replacement keys or the pro software you can make this your own.
Once you have your custom preset that can be saved to a keyboard shortcut you can still raise or lower the luminosity using the keyboard function.
I really like it so far and I do not miss my Logitech MX Mechanical that broke 24 months after ownership with no replacement parts or any way to repair it. I like this keyboard better than the Logitech actually now that I’m typing at night on it. I do look at my keyboard while typing (bad habbit) but the key are very easy to see and I can create profile for any occasion!
