Surprisingly useful for its size. I use it for my 3d printer but has many other uses.

It’s my 2nd pi product, but this one doesn’t have any light on at all if there is an incompatible img put into the sd drive. So that surprised me a bit, but that’s how it’s done with pi zero. If you don’t see a light within five seconds of power on, the image is not compatible. The rest of this review is only if you are using this without a moniter, and using a headless serial connection. If you are using it headless, like I did, and with pi-imager, the debian images will boot, but will reject your username and password, no matter how many times you re-install and change passwords or whatever. The solution is to use any of the images that are in a folder called raspios_lite_armhf on the raspberrypi website. It contains images dated 2020-05-28 (actually 2020-05-27 img), to present day. Any image there from 2020-12-02-raspios-buster-armhf-lite.zip or later worked for me in headless mode, and it accepted the password; I tried them all. Don’t forget, after putting the img on the sd card: On the first partion of the card, in the root folder, append the following line to config.txt “enable_uart=1” otherwise serial headless won’t work. Any images based on debian will take at least 80 seconds before you see ANYTHING at all on the console. And almost all the versions will do surprising automatic reboots, sometimes three times, so it’ll be at least four minutes after power-on before you can type in your password. Also, I’ve noticed that several of the debian based releases show shocking messages that indicate the filesystem (for example journal) is corrupted, but they rebooted, and it all works fine anyway. I think this might have something to do with setting up the files, and it’s probably “normal”. I like this little pi board, probably even more than my first real pi.

You know what I love? I love that we live in a world where I need a computer the size of a stick of gum to tell my Christmas lights when to turn on and off. Because flipping a switch is too much work for modern humans. But you know what? This little Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is perfect for that kind of beautiful nonsense.
Under THIRTY bucks. THIRTY bucks for a computer that has more processing power than the entire Apollo program, and I’m using it to make my inflatable Santa wave at the neighbors. The engineers at MIT are rolling over in their graves. The ones who are dead, anyway. The live ones are probably doing the same thing with theirs.
This thing is smaller than a deck of cards but somehow packs in WiFi, Bluetooth, and enough computing muscle to run whatever half-baked automation project pops into your head at 2 AM. Want to spoof MAC addresses? Sure, why the hell not? Want to build a retro gaming console? Go nuts. Want to monitor your pet hamster’s exercise routine and post the data to a spreadsheet? This little sucker will do it without complaining.
And it actually WORKS. Right out of the box. No driver hell, no tech support runaround, just plug it in and watch it go. It’s almost disappointing how reliable it is—I was looking forward to a good three-hour rage session troubleshooting drivers.
Bottom line: If you need a tiny, cheap, wireless computer for your questionable projects, this is your guy. Five stars. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a doorbell to rig up with facial recognition.

I bought this to setup a pihole as I’ve been increasingly barraged by ads.
I’ve been able to block pretty much everything setting up a network wide Adblock. It seems to work on ALL of my connected devices including my Apple TV. Bonus, you can setup a remote DNS so that you can have your network tunnel through this, filtering ads on the go out of the main network. Friggen cool little unit.
If you know someone with a 3D printer check out cases for this on Printables, there are many great options. I printed this one in literally 20 minutes for 10g of filament.

This is an awful incomplete board. Mine just didn’t connect to the wifi after flashing. I couldn’t connect to a monitor to debug it because it only has a micro hdmi port, then I bought a micro hdmi adapter and remembered the board only has a micro usb slot and I don’t have a keyboard or an adapter that fits a micro usb.
Save yourself from some trouble and buy a real board with ethernet, a real hdmi and real usb port.

Bom produto, funcionou para o que eu pretendia. Unica falha foi a entrega mesmo, que ao chegar em minha residencia fora da data prevista, e não haver ninguem para receber ja no inicio da noite, o entregador simplesmente jogou a caixa com o produto por cima do muro e colocou que havia sido recebido e assinado na hora. Minha sorte é que o Raspberry é pequeno e proteção do plastico bolha foi suficiente. Fora isso, tudo ok.
