DIY red seal plumber (not) installed in less than an hour, however had to get 10” shower arm extender with flange to complete the install. This combination rain shower head and hand held unit has great pressure and is power-full for an invigorating shower. Hand held has several features/options and will make cleaning much more easier as we previously only had the rainfall shower head. Some pix attached of final results and you can hear the water pressure. Overall we are satisfied, looks good and appears to be an overall good product.

Highly recommend!! Everything from installation to use is very easy. I love the magnetic hanger for the hand held. Super convenient. And the rain shower…just Wow!!! very nice purchase! I can’t speak for longevity at this point.

I love this shower head! It was very easy to install – if you have all the right tools at home (a good large wrench) you can get the installation over with in less than 15 minutes. The shower head also comes with a good amount of thread seal tapes which is great because you can put a lot on each hose connection. I also really like that the additional shower head attachment can be placed wherever you want (high or low). It’s great for bathing my dogs and when I shower with my partner it’s nice because both of us can have water at the same time. I also love all of the settings that the additional shower head has. I use the second strongest setting to clean my shower when I’m done. It keeps the shower clean and when I deep clean my shower it’s less work because I am always washing it down. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their shower head.

I was always impressed by rainfall showers in hotels, so I figured it was about time to get one, but I was worried about getting one that lacked water pressure. You just can’t replace that early morning feeling of hot water pelting your body loosening up stiff muscles and opening the sinuses. I also didn’t want to lose the ability to have a handheld option, so this product was a win-win at the price I paid compared to many others.

Now, I will say that I did add an extra 16″ shower head extension arm to this product (as seen in my picture) but that was personal preference. I simply wanted it to be placed slightly higher and closer to the center of the tub. Regardless of the reason, they still included an arm, and some other competitors don’t bother including one at all. I also didn’t use the supplied teflon tape, I opted to use my normal brand which served me well. I’ve had 0 (zero!) leaks in the 6 months I’ve now had the product. Like anything else water or gas related, you learn the dos and don’ts of how to hook things up to avoid issues. Lastly, the supplied wrench was useless in my opinion. I didn’t bother taking off a star because I didn’t buy the product for the tape and wrench, I bought a shower head and using my own tools worked fine with less effort.

So how does it work? Fantastic. The wife is happy and so am I. I sometimes wish I would have purchased the 8″ over the 10″ because having the larger shower head means having less overall pressure but I knew that going into the purchase and opted to have the water rain down in a larger area instead. This point is often overlooked. Regardless, it has decent pressure and mounting it up a little higher increased it even further. The handheld has amazing pressure, and as others have mentioned, while you can run both at the same time, but you do split the pressure between the two. The last piece of advice I can give is that I DO NOT recommend going through the different handheld settings while it is in the base unless you like to inadvertently wash your ceiling. It has no problem shooting that vertical stream straight up and scaring the crap out of you when you forget. 😀 I should also mention that some reviewers commented about the handheld falling out of the base. This has only happened to me once or twice when I failed to seat it in the base properly. When you put the handheld in the base you need to push it down so the rubber washer is sitting firmly in the base. If you just lightly place it in the holder without securing it and go to use it, then yes, it will fall out. The instructions could have been a little clearer to point this out.

This item is terrible and not worth the cost. The item is very heavy and as a result puts a little of pressure on the small attachment and o ring where it mounts to your homes shower water outlet supply. I had to install it over 10 times using nearly every rubber o ring provided to get it to not leak. It would work for a few mins making me believe I had it solved and every to would start leaking in the same spot over and over. The assembly seems to be too heavy for a standard home water supply pipe or maybe I just received a faulty one out of the box. Either way it was a Christmas gift that needs to be returned as it simply will not work without leaking.
