We started with a potty on the floor but our little one quickly decided they preferred using the “big toilet” like a “big kid”. We then purchased the Hopscotch brand potty seat with a ladder, in store. It was awful. Flimsy, bad assembly directions, didn’t fit any of the toilet heights, and shifted a lot on the seat. I decided to look on Amazon and check out the reviews. Bought this one, and it’s waaaaay better, for nearly the same price as the hopscotch brand. The assembly directions were super easy to follow, it adjusts to fit our toilet height, the handles are really easy for our little one to use when climbing up (so they feel confident now), it’s not slipping on the floor or the toilet seat, it had Velcro holding the cushion to the seat so it’s easy to remove and clean but also stays in place, it easily pulls off the toilet and folds into a stool. Couldn’t recommend this one more. Very impressed and super happy to have found it. Our little one asked for us to get on in the upstairs bathroom for them too!

Der Sitz sitzt stabil auf der Toilette, verrutscht nicht und gibt ein sicheres Gefühl. Auch die Rückenlehne und die seitlichen Griffe sind ein tolles Extra – sie geben zusätzlich Halt und Vertrauen.
Design:
Optisch sehr ansprechend! Das niedliche Design spricht Kinder direkt an und macht den Toilettengang sogar ein bisschen spannend. Unser Kind geht jetzt viel lieber aufs Töpfchen.
Sauberkeit & Handhabung:
Leicht zu reinigen und schnell aufzusetzen. Auch das kleine Spritzschutz-Design vorne ist praktisch, besonders bei Jungs. Insgesamt super durchdacht!
Fazit:
Ein toller Begleiter beim Trockenwerden! Stabil, bequem, kinderfreundlich – einfach rundum gelungen. Wir würden ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen und können ihn anderen Eltern nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Love this step-up toilet seat! We started using it right when we potty trained for our toddler at 2.5 years old – she absolutely loves it and feels so proud being able to climb up and use the toilet all by herself. The steps are sturdy, the seat fits securely, and it’s easy to fold away when not in use. We bought 2! (One for powder room downstairs and one for her dedicated washroom upstairs). It’s made potty time so much smoother (and cleaner!) for everyone. We’ve had it for over a year now – no complaints. Highly recommend.

This step-stool type potty is fantastic! My son is 2 years and 2 months old and just starting to show signs of being ready to potty train. We have other types of pottys too, but both myself and my son prefer this one. I definitely recommend getting this style of potty that goes on a regular sized toilet (instead of a little potty) because you won’t end up having to teach your kid how to use the potty and then transition to toilet.
I like that assembly was quick and easy, the kit comes with little tool to help tighten the screws. There is Velcro for the bottom of the cushioned seat so it stays in place. There are rubber grips on the bottom step as well as the bottom of the seat to stop it from sliding around and keeps it sturdy. I also like that it’s an adjustable height, so it can fit all types of toilets. And best of all it is collapsible so I can easily set it up and take it down whenever I need.
