Been losing weight, low carb/sugar and high protein, and these help when really hungry and need a snack.
Most have been very good. Will probably keep editing this as I try them.
Chocolate Peanut Caramel – Very good, like a snickers bar, oddly has probably best numbers (protein vs carbs).
Salted Caramel – Also very good.
Caramel Churro – I like cinnamon, and not overly a fan of chocolate TBH so this one is a good choice.
Brookie – Looks like it came straight from the Play-Doh Fun Factory. Dense, odd texture, OK taste but a pass.
Chocolate Mint Cookie – Good, not too strong of mint. Tastes like the Girl Guide cookies.
Lemon Cake – Just don’t. I absolutely love lemon, but this was pretty hard to choke down. Very artificial tasting.

These are one of my absolute favourite protein bars. They are so delicious, and could not be more convenient. I enjoy them after a workout, as a meal replacement, even on the go. I throw one in my purse, and away I go! Filling enough, with 20g of protein and only 1 or 2 grams of sugar, I love Pure Protein bars!

This is pretty much my go-to brand of protein bars, unless I want something with fewer carbs. Good price (especially on sale), variety of flavours, and decent macros, with all the bars around 20g of protein. The downside is the flavours are hit or miss, some have a very pronounced artificial flavour and strong whey taste, which is off-putting in some protein bars, which is why I give it a 4/5. Here is my experience with the flavours:
☑ Chocolate Peanut Caramel + Sundae Cone — both are excellent, not too much artificial flavour, they taste less like a protein bar and more like a candy bar; Sundae Cone does not taste like a sundae cone at all but it’s great
☑ Chocolate Peanut Butter — overall good, albeit with a fair amount of that whey+artificial taste; pretty much the standard I compare the other flavours to and to me this tastes like a typical peanut butter “protein bar”
☑ Chocolate Deluxe — slightly worse than the Chocolate Peanut Butter (more of that artificial taste) and a little more chewy/fudgy, but overall okay
☒ Lemon Cake — there is definitely some good lemon flavour at the beginning but there is something extremely off-putting about the overall taste; first one I tried was decent but I had to force myself to eat the rest of them, not going to buy again

-chocolate peanut caramel. 10/10. Really tastes like Mars or snickers, if I need to pick one that would be it. It has next to no protein aftertaste, really feels like you’re having a candy bar. Also perfect amount of chewiness, a little peanut crunch and soft caramel filling.
-chocolate salted caramel. 9/10. I bought it by mistake, comparing with the first one it’s definitely sweeter, I can see how for some people it may be too sweet. I lot of caramel, inside and on top, has some crunch, but not enough for me. I still enjoyed it and would buy it again
-caramel churro, 9/10, really interesting flavour, it taste like cinnamon, has a lot of crunch and white chocolate really makes it delicious, it does have some protein aftertaste, but I feel like white chocolate really neutralizes it
-chocolate peanut butter 8/10, really nice good texture, no aftertaste.
-chewy chocolate chip. 7/10, exact thoughts as the previous one, I liked it but would not repurchase
-galactic brownie. 3/10 I love milk chocolate, and this one is too bitter for me. It has a soft chocolate filling, but no crunch. Tastes more like semi-sweet chocolate and has bitter after taste. I tried it cold, I tried it warmed up (which helped a little), but still it’s a no for me.
-cookies and cream. 0/10. I don’t know if I got a faulty box or what, but this is disgusting. Tried room temperature or from the fridge, it smells and tastes like rotten cheese

Taste delicious, i have tried tons of different varieties and these are so far one of the best. i actually getthem from costco but needed to refil so ordered online. Great snack on the go. I have preference for certain flavours though but that is actualluy subjective, no issues with the product. They can become addictive so i limit myself to one a day.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor strikes a really nice balance. The texture is what truly stands out. It’s soft and smooth without being sticky or chalky, and it doesn’t crumble apart when you’re on the go. It actually feels like you’re eating something satisfying, not just forcing down a “healthy” snack.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is there’s the faintest bit of aftertaste at the end, not overpowering, but noticeable if you’re paying attention. That said, it’s very minor compared to the overall flavor and texture.

This is a review of the Galactic Brownie flavor of Pure Protein bars.
I will tell you straight up, it is like the brownie part is 2 days old (solid but chewy) and it has a layer of something akin to frosting with the consistency of caramel on top of it…I do not know how else to describe it, except that I love it and I really have to be disciplined to not eat one every day.
I use these protein bars (along with Legendary ones) as my final meal of the day, and they ensure that I am not hungry by the time I go to bed and that I am keeping my protein up.
I do not have any allergy symptoms or digestive issues from eating them, so this is a win-win from me. I am on this site to grab another box and maybe try a new one. I don’t know…really there is no reason buy any other flavor if you like chocolate.
