Excellent product. Light weight and slim. Display and quality is amazing.

This screen is handy, potrable. Input ports are limited. The big disappointment is that the screen resolution is poor. At first i didnt notice as pictures arreaped clear and the screen was bright, but then I began to notice that for production ( text documents, word processing, the letters werent that clear). I i would return this if i could but the return window closed.

The matte screen is sharp and vibrant supporting a 60 to 120hz refresh rate (you have to set it in your system display settings), and the build quality should appear without common issues like backlight bleed or a humming sound from poor components. The optional Freesync and HDR is appreciated, along with a strongly recommended blue light filter that eases eye strain, all via the OSD with the wheel on the back-left, push in and then cycle up-down, and the back button next to it doubles as the power on/off when held down. Toggling power isn’t needed since it will automatically turn on/off with the video signal. The 3.5mm audio port is another helpful feature if you don’t want to use the rear speakers and instead headphones or external speakers.

The built-in stand covers the ports when closed and swivels out with strong tension for an easy desk rest but also goes all the way up and can be placed on laptop/tablet stand for more height. The power adapter is a wall plug that’s direct to USBC, video/audio can be sent through the included cables, HDMI to Mini-HDMI or the USBC to USBC that can also be used for power simultaneously if run from a sufficient device.

A great choice found on sale and a strong difference from 17.3″/15.6″, but you may want to find an “18.5 inch monitor case” for travel/storage. A helpful detail is that iProda offers a 3year warranty, far greater than other options and the manual says (printed too small) they can be contacted for a free (mini)DisplayPort to HDMI adapter if needed. They were helpful in knowing about my quality concerns and showed they support their products.

The low down…

I use it mostly on my couch with a board for it to sit on with a wireless keyboard and mouse to be like a laptop screen with the power of a desktop sitting behind me. Now this is a new build as of yesterday so I haven’t had much use yet. but after a few hours of setting up and installing followed by an hour of No Man’s Sky I’m quite happy with my screen and will be keeping it.

So why the 3 stars?
-1 for not disclosing it was open box. The stickers on the box were broken and you can see the residue on the screen from the first two pictures where someone packed it under their arm (I’m assuming). And the not properly wrapped cable in the box.
-1 for the short 2 ft. HDMI cable and really awkward on off button (long press the button on the back).

Pros:
Good screen.
Color is good.
I like the brightness adjuster.
Can use usb-c or HDMI for video in.
Much lighter than my now dead laptop.
Doesn’t slide around. Does when at a fairly steep angle but that’s expected and so does everything else like my mouse and keyboard at that point.

Cons:
Came open box but not disclosed as such. I don’t mind open box and bough some great deals that way. But HATE when vendors don’t disclose it.
Super short HDMI cable. I had to put my tower right in front of me until I can order a longer HDMI cord.
The back button for screen off and on is pretty awkward to get to from the front. It’s a little thing but you have to practically lift it and turn the screen around to get to the button.
Inputs are only on one side. Which happens to be on the opposite side of my preferred orientation haha.

Would I but it again. First reaction yes. Honestly I probably would have forgave the other -1 and given 5 stars if it weren’t for the open box. That just really got under my skin yesterday.
