This wasn’t my first choice for a squat/bench rack—I originally wanted a full cage, but I just don’t have the space or ceiling height for one in my garage. After comparing several different options, I decided on this rack, and I’m glad I did.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and assembly was straightforward. The rack’s adjustable height makes it easy to switch between squats and bench press, and it fits perfectly in my garage without feeling bulky.

It’s very sturdy, and I feel much safer using this compared to other bench/rack setups I’ve tried. The price point also makes it a great value, especially considering the quality and stability.

I’m very happy I found something that works well for me and my family. I would definitely recommend this rack to anyone needing a solid, space-friendly setup.

This product is great bang for the buck, but here are a few problems I had with my item:
1-My unit came with no instructions, and there was no instructions online for my unit (SR20), there were only instructions for SR30. It was ok as the assembly was quite straightforward.
2-One of my screws was stripped/defective. There are no extra screws
3-A normal sized plate does not fit where they are meant to be stored (space way too small). It’s ok, I can just store them on the floor

The rack is good for my use.

The product was shipped well, as everything was taped together and sealed to avoid loss. However, a manufacturing error caused one of the nuts to turn sideways and the package was missing a nut. The manual also listed a different number of washers and bolts than what listed in the shipping or parts section That’s not a big issue, as I went to the local Bumper to Bumper and picked up what I needed for a few dollars. The price of the squat rack was still affordable and worth the value.

Appearance: It looks sharp and is a nice addition to the room.

Safety: I questioned the wobbliness of the safety arms, as they do not attach anywhere at the top. The taller you make them, the more they move. But, when weight is applied to them, they become solid. They work as intended.

The squat part, J-hooks – Those are sturdy and hold well.

The push-up handles – My rack is set too wide for these to be used as intended. Instead, they’ve become resistance band handles and allow me to do alternative exercises. If you’re willing to pull out your bench and readjust the width of the rack, you’d have push-ups and dip bars. (Gloves are needed)

The weight plate stand – it was great to find a squat rack that has 1″ plate holders. When loaded it adds additional stability.

ISSUE: And the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5
The squat part and safety arms both utilize a plastic knob to loosen or tighten a bolt. This allows us to change the height. These knobs are set in a terrible place. I have a 5′ barbell and have the stand set to the bar’s maximum width. Otherwise, my elbows whack the safety arms. As a result, the plates slam into the plastic knobs preventing me from setting the bar down. I added additional spin lock clamps to prevent this from happening, so my plates no longer come down on the plastic knobs. They have .5″ to spare. This sounds like a major con for the product, but the bar itself and my personal preferences are also at fault. For this reason, I only reduced it by one star. A 6′ bar would have no issue.

The parts are of solid quality and easy to assemble. Perfect for squatting, for bench pressing one needs to adjust the width to the max, it works for my size but if you have really wide chest and shoulders then it could be an issue (this has been mentioned in other reviews too).
What I liked the best is the customer support. My package came without one part. I contacted the customer service and they sent the part to me right away, together with extra tools. They were very friendly, customer-oriented and supportive throughout. I got the missing part in just a couple of days. Overall, very happy with the experience, exemplary work of customer support! You can be sure that if you have a problem with the rack they will be there for you to fix it.
