I’m not one normally prone to anxiety – at least that which is not manageable. But with some major life changes upcoming a surge of nervous energy had been pulsating through me in anticipation of these changes, and had been feeling fatigued and groggy for a long time. Someone pointed out that I had an anxiety problem so began researching products, which led to L-Theanine.

My first experience taking it was physically felt – the anxiety just melted away after a 2-3 hours consuming the tablet. That was a one time effect – all other times the transition of the tablet was not felt but very noticeable in the after effect – more relaxed sleeps, and not waking up groggy. Because I work night shifts and take naps throughout the day, tablet consumption is around the noon hour after my first morning nap. Subsequent naps are more exhilarating and I don’t wake up feeling groggy. On top of that, there is more life and energy in my bones and I feel more energized and not prone to fatigue. An added bonus is the energy it provides for the overnight shift.

I am more relaxed but do notice in the mornings the effects seem to wear off , but not too bad considering that is my first nap time. I’ve been taking the tablet for five days at the time of this review so long term effects are not yet known. There are no immediate side effects except for some minor tummy aches but nothing to write home about. Possibly some minor constipation.

Another thing noticed is that breathing is a lot better – I have had sinus issues for some time but never really took anything for it. Now i breathe a lot clearer and deeper. I suspect too this supplement might be resulting in some weight loss – a happy bonus! I also feel more grounded, strengthened and in control.

All in all this is a great product. For me it worked instantly and I noticed the difference within a day or two of using. I like the idea of one commenter who takes it two months on, one month off. So will likely try that. At least until I can manage the anxiety.

Made it easier to fall asleep at first, but still wouldn’t really stay asleep.

Had to discontinue use due to it eventually causing all-over skin/nerve sensitivity and itchiness only Gold Bond and Polysporin Hydrocortisone Cream would (briefly) solve.

This supplement does what it’s supposed to and does it well. I started taking it during a period of high stress and fatigue, and the difference was clear within a couple of days

It helps me stay grounded and alert through the day. It’s also made breathing easier and seems to be contributing to some weight loss. No major side effects, just minor tummy aches now and then.
