At the time of writing this this review, this 120 pack of toilet bowl cleaner costs $11.99.
I bought a new house with a septic system/holding tank, so what I put into it is pretty important. The main ingrediant is sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, for anyone who is concerned. I have no idea why it was so hard to find this info. It’s on the packaging, but not the listing. This is considered mostly septic safe. Using an abundance of this can harm a septic tank, but you’d have to use all of these at once to get even remotely close.
This is an interesting product. I live in a house with 5 bathrooms, and when we don’t have guests over for a while we like to cycle through the toilets and fixtures to make sure the P traps and things are all full of water and being use. I much prefer to use these one-off sheets to clean the toilets as opposed to leaving those chemical heavy blue pucks in the tanks for days or weeks without movement or use. This would be much easier for the plastic components of my toilet tanks. I like that I can control the amount of cleaner used, as opposed to the tank pucks.
These are easy to use. Drop them in the toilet, wait for the action to stop, clean the toilet. These are by no means a “No scrub” solution. But it did make scrubbing easier. I’m not sure why they claim that.
You get a lot of sheets for $12. That’s around $0.10 a sheet. This is very budget friendly for our needs.
Solid product. Makes it easier to clean. Doesn’t smell. Easy to use. However, I don’t like how hard it was to find the chemical info and I don’t like the claim of scrub free.

Tout d’abord, il serait utile de préciser que ce ne sont pas des pastilles, mais des lingettes assez petites, qui ne dépassent pas la surface de l’eau, et qu’on ne peut pas les comparer à un produit doté d’un bec qui va dans tous les recoins. Celui-ci de dissout pour agir dans le bol de toilettes, pas partout donc.
La lingette se place dans l’eau du bol des toilettes et commence immédiatement à se désagréger. La désagrégation est rapide, environ 3 minutes. Je l’ai laissée agir. Je n’ai pas vu de dépôts sur la porcelaine.
Une odeur de propre est libérée, assez « douce », pas de ces odeurs agressives qui vous prennent au nez. J’ai vraiment aimé que l’odeur de propre sente le propre avec douceur. C’est un point important pour moi.
Côté nettoyage, pas sûr que ça retire le tartre, vu que ce n’est pas un flacon muni d’un bec verseur, mais on le sait en voyant les photos de l’annonce, donc pas de surprise.
En suivant le mode d’emploi, j’ai brossé partout, et j’ai été contente de voir que le produit ne laissait aucune trace. Il y a une petite mousse. J’aime utiliser ce produit. J’envisage même d’emporter quelques feuilles dans un Ziploc en camping à la belle saison.

This bathtub cleaner is a form of cleaning sheet. Each sheet is like a small piece of tissue. It is as think as a tissue. If picking by finger, it is very easy to break. Dropping into the toilet bowl, it melts into the water very quick. The water shows very light colour and you would not notice there is cleaning detergent in the toilet if you didn’t know there was such a cleaning sheet dropped in the toilet. After brushing the toilet bowl, there is not many bubble generated and the feel of clean is not there. If these sheets need to used for daily clean, the toilet cleaning would be quite expensive given the price of the package. The size of the package is as the same size as the bottle toilet cleaner. Storing such a package does not save any storage space comparing to store a bottle cleaner. Overall, don’t feel any advantage of this sheet comparing to the bottle one.

Based on the “Easy 3-Step Cleaning: 1) Dissolve, 2) Let fizz clean, 3) Enjoy freshness,” I was under the impression it would clean the bowl with little to no scrubbing. I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to give it a try. It turns out you do, in fact, have to scrub the bowl to clean it—it even says so right on the package. I really wanted these to work better than they do, since they mostly just deodorize the bowl and remove minor discolouration. They don’t fizz—they just dissolve within a few minutes.
While these might be useful for someone who wants to use them for “daily refreshes,” they’re actually slightly less convenient than simply using a spray or flushable toilet scrub pad, since you have to wait for them to dissolve instead of getting to it right away. Granted, they may be more environmentally friendly than scrub pads, but they aren’t as quick or effective. That’s not to say they’re completely useless—they do freshen the bowl and help with the cleaning process—but I don’t think they’re an adequate replacement for traditional cleaning products.
All in all, I wouldn’t get these again. They’re not very effective, and I still have to scrub the bowl the same way I would with any other cleaner. Unless you’re looking for something specifically for light daily refreshing, I wouldn’t recommend them.
