It is a great item for carrying your cameras. I use it to carry my Sony A6000 with a 70-350mm lens on my chest and another Sony A6000 with a 12mm lens on my hip. It affords me no hands and no camera swing while I am trying to climb over and around things in the woods to get my shot. The cameras are easy to remove from the holster to get the shot and just as easy to replace them there when starting to walk again. They also lock in so there are no worries about them falling out while climbing.
If there was a flaw in it, it would be that you have to take off the mechanism that holds the camera into the holster in order to mount your tripod connector. Therefore you are limited to hand held shots while using this device. It would be so nice if the screw that held that mechanism on also had a screw hole in it so that you could easily mount, and remove, your tripod connector.

I enjoyed wearing the vest and my canon 5R and 100 to 500 lens….are well balanced when wearing this Chest Harness….no difficulties at all with the knob falling off or letting my camera fall…it is the answer i was looking for, as i am not a big person and i had hip and lower back issues when carrying my camera more than a kilometer…my arms shook and my back ached. This vest has allieveated all the pain i had…and is easy to adjust…and it has given me joy in knowing i can now take my camera everywhere and i do not feel fatiqued no matter how long my walk is…..! I love this vest!

  5. Andrew M.

    Stukken goedkoper dan een merk.
    Werkt top en draagt gemakkelijk.

  6. Lean Machine

Overall very good, and a solid budget version of a brand name system that is at least 2x the price. It is a little more “plasticy” and the price reflects that. However I was able to carry 2 cameras for several hours without any discomfort, and much more comfortable than a full camera backpack

  7. J Vermeer

The plastic piece that holds the camera to the carrier, just broke even before I could attach the safety strap. Camera fell to the floor. NOT HAPPY. Only used it for a few months and therefore I contacted the seller and he is not answering my message at all. I would never trust my camera to this carrier!!

    Works as advertised.

I had previously tried the “BLACKRAPID Double Breathe Camera Harness, Trusted Design For One Or Two SLR, DSLR, Mirrorless Cameras”, which in and of itself is a nice unit, but I found that having a (relatively) heavy camera/lens and a pair of binoculars (instead of a second camera) attached produced a lot of swinging, bouncing, and bumping against me while walking and hiking.

I used this setup recently on a two-week birding trip around southern Florida. In a place like that at the end of April you’ll still sweat in the harness, but you’d sweat without it anyway, and the lightness of the unit and mesh body construction make the best of a hot situation.

A heavy camera and lens (I’m using a Canon R7 body with a(n) RF 100-500 mm lens attached) will tend to make the harness ride slightly forward even with the straps adjusted snugly, but just a bit, and not enough to compromise its use.

I did need to occasionally re-tighten the attachment screw on the base of my camera body; you should definitely check this periodically depending on how frequently you’re mounting and dismounting the camera on the harness.

You may lose some spontaneity in the time it takes to get the camera out of the harness slot (I’m shooting birds and they move around quickly and a lot). On the other hand, when the camera is in the slot properly it’s very secure, and the safety strap is strong enough to bring peace of mind. Standing in one place and photographing birds I sometimes let the camera dangle on its safety strap rather than keep putting it back into and taking it out of the harness; I felt confident in the strap’s strength and reliability.

Overall it does what it says, and it’s much more comfortable walking and hiking to have my hands free and the weight of the camera and lens not swinging around and bouncing against me all the time.

I also attached my binoculars to the second safety strap, which meant with both the camera and the binoculars I could go totally hands free for those times when simply hiking or walking.

I’ve had the harness for about a month now, using it both at home and on travel, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but so far it appears to be holding up just fine.

Very good quality – should last. I like the extra straps for security. The only problem I have with it is, I am a smaller person (5’4″, 100 lbs) and I had a hard time getting it small enough to fit tight around me. When it is loose, it tends to put pressure on my neck, which is the exact thing I am trying to avoid.

I went with this harness as I wanted one where the camera’s would be more rigidly attached to my body vs. the other type of harness where the cameras are leashed and more free to twist and swing around.

The harness itself fit well but not great – there were some minor gaps here any there and the chest plate rides fairly high for me, being a taller person, with little adjustment available to drop it lower. The chest-plate and secondary camera pad are somewhat stiff, so not the most comfortable, but I didn’t have any problems with edges digging into my body, more just that when you move around you’re reminded they’re there. The chest-plate and secondary pad dont breath much at all, so expect to get kinda sweaty under there if you wear it tight or using this thing on a hot day. The back, however, is fairly breathable.

My main concern was with the camera mounts being plastic and possibly fracturing due to the weight of the gear, but it felt fine after loading it up with a Sony A9 w/ battery grip and 24-70mm f/2.8. The mounts also include a orientation based locking mechanism so the cameras won’t just slide out if you lean over or something. Included are some leashes presumably for if the mount breaks or you drop the camera, which I found to be a little chunky so I replaced them with some paracord. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by how secure the cameras held into the vest and my body.

  11. J adore c est vraiment magnifique je recommande vivement

First working solution for having my camera with me when biking.
Canon Eos R5 with 100-500 L without problem, I just added short bungy cord across the lens from keeping it from swinging when holstered

  12. Richard Ijzendoorn

Muy cómo, resistente, seguro y útil.

  13. Mohsen

So, it looks good quality, the concept is great, and the price is right, compared to its competitors. So why 3 stars? The first day I used it was the first day of my back problems. I’ve been dealing with a lot of disc and muscular pain ever since I used ghis for three hours with my big 150-600 lens. Never thought it releases pressure from your neck, but to your spine! It needs a warning or likes.
