If I could give zero stars I would This headset either came broken or im stupid this headset im sure has good sound quality but i wouldnt know because i didnt work I spent hours watching videos on how to get this thing to work and everything I did nothing worked and on the comments on youtube videos other people are also having this problem I even went as far to buy a new cable in case that was an issue nope it wasent no matter how many times i tried how mych software I downloaded I couldnt get this thing to work like how hard is it to make a headpone that u plug in and it works these headphone are so bad im sure free temu headphone are better DO NOT BUY!

I had high hopes for this headset. Coming from an extremely dominant gaming peripheral company that has made stellar products in the past, I expected great things from this headset. however I was sadly disappointed.

the packaging was solid for the headphones. everything came neat and organized, and you even get a very generous sticker pack. but that’s basically where the positives end. one thing to note is that I’m comparing these to my previous headphones, the razer blackshark v2 pro, which are the same price but miles better. for $80 dollars, the second you take the headphones out of the box, these feel cheap and plastic-y. it’s advertised that they are very light, but I personally wouldn’t mind a bit more weight in exchange for a more quality feel. the clamping force on the ear cups is fairly tight, and I need to readjust them every 30 minutes or so because they get uncomfortable. the ear cups themselves get hot very quickly, and I am not a big fan of the material. the retractable mic functions decently, but it is a bit difficult to use if one hand is occupied. I didn’t really do a sound test, but considering it is the same type of ClearCast mic system as previous headsets, I believe it sounds fine. the sound of the headset is mediocre. the bass is underwhelming and the mids and highs are too harsh. I listen to music while gaming, but compared to the blacksharks, it is not as enjoyable of an experience. I don’t expect them to have surreal sound, but this was disappointing. the overall build of the headset seems like it could wreck very easily. the band at the top wasn’t as comfortable as I thought it was going to be, but it was still bearable. overall the build of the headset was alright at most.

I picked this headset up for $30 after using a gift card. if I’m being completely honest, I would pay $40 max for a headset like this. there are too many mediocre features on this headset that could never justify the $80 price tag it has. there are so many better options than this around the same price point. i was excited to try out a steelseries headset for the first time, as I had heard many good things about them. sadly my first experience fell well below my expectations.

For the price the sound quality and the engineering is great! It’s also very lightweight, however after 2 weeks I’m suddenly hearing static and the audio is all weird. Not very impressive.

In the same week and reordered this specific headset for a 2nd times bc I already have one. And no other headset can compare not even the upgraded ones from the same company/brand. I put this specific headset over any 100$+ headset.
On my Old one the wheel for the volume short out. Bought this used (35$) and it came basically brand new I don’t even think it was actually worn yet. Amazing quality recommend buying used mint condition. 1000x better than anything else I’ve found so far.
Beeen looking n trying things for years.
These and the hyperxcloud 2s wired are the only other headset’s worth money if you’re def like me.

Having gone through several headsets including turtle Beach, razer, hyperx, I can tell you this headset is vastly superior in many ways.

It’s lightweight but constructed with high quality parts.

The ear cups and adjustable microphone allow for proper comfort and the head strap Is soft and flexible, an adjustable for different head sizes, and keeps it comfortable for hours.

If I was going to list any negatives, I have noticed the ear cups are so well positioned and sound dampened, that sometimes it creates a bit of a suction in your ear.

As far as entry level inexpensive headsets go, This one is in the upper echelon and closer to mid-tier.
