These are a great protein snack for me. Enough sugar that it gives me a bit of a boost when I need it, but not too much and enough protein to sustain my blood sugar and not make it spike too high. I love the taste too, some protein bars don’t taste the greatest but these are delicious. I have t2 diabetes and wear a continuous glucose monitor to keep an eye on my sugars.

I have been trying to get more protein in any way I can including protein bars. I used to but some from amazon but they had too much of a chemical taste. I was looking through the grocery section and stumbled upon these. At the time they were $2.50 which was a really good price considering I saw them at my local food basics for $3 or $4 usually. I decided to buy two of them as the price was good.
The protein bars came quickly. The boxes were a little bit squished but the bars inside were all intact. There are 4 protein bars per box which I like. They taste very good and both boxes were gone within the week. They dont taste like there is too much chemicals in them as well as they tasted pretty natural although a bit sweet. If they are $2.50 again then I may buy more as it is a really good price.
The reason I took one star off is because of how much sugar it has. It does not have an overwhelming amount
at 8g of sugar per bar but at the same time I noticed how sweet it was compared to the other things I usually eat. In the future if this goes on sale again I may just buy one box here and there but overall at $2.50 it is a great deal.
