Après de nombreuses recherches et comparaisons, j’ai choisi la poudre de protéines de lactosérum MuscleTech Nitro-Tech, et je dois dire que je suis très agréablement surpris par la qualité de ce produit.

D’abord, le goût est vraiment remarquable. J’ai essayé de nombreuses poudres de protéines dans le passé, et beaucoup d’entre elles ont un goût artificiel ou trop sucré. Pas celle-ci. La saveur vanillée de la MuscleTech Nitro-Tech est équilibrée et naturelle, bien plus agréable que la plupart des autres poudres sur le marché. Ensuite, en ce qui concerne l’efficacité, la MuscleTech Nitro-Tech ne déçoit pas. I’d like to preface this by saying I’ve used a number of different protein brands over the years, from Gold Standard to ISOFlex to Diesel to ISOGold to ISO100, etc. So I’ll write my review of Nitro-tech in comparison to these other brands.

First, let’s address the negative stuff.
CONS:
1. Taste – Nitrotech tastes the worst out of all the brands I’ve tried. Not because it actually tastes horrible (it’s not bad) but rather because it has a thick, creamy, almost chalky texture to it. The flavoring still makes it palatable, but compared to other brands it definitely has the most concentrated “protein-like” taste to it.

2. Serving size – other brands have a serving size of around 30-35g per scoop. The serving size for Nitrotech is 46g. That means that you’ll go through your 5 pound tub of Nitrotech way faster than other brands. Also might be why their texture is a lot thicker per serving.

3. Not the healthiest – Nitrotech has about 2g of sugar per serving, whereas most other brands have 0-1g. It has 160 calories per serving whereas most brands have only about 110-130 calories. It also has more fat and more cholesterol than most major brands.

4. They don’t have a lot of flavors – Strawberry and Cookies and Cream are their most adventurous flavors, and you’ll struggle to find any of those in stock. Mostly you’re just stuck with Vanilla and Chocolate. That seems quite dated when compared to modern protein powders. Reminds me of protein powders from the 90’s.

5. Slightly hard on the stomach – It’s not the worst, I’ve tried other protein powders that just didn’t agree with my stomach (ISO100 I’m looking at you!) but this doesn’t go unnoticed either. I have to be careful how much Nitrotech shakes I take in a day if I don’t want to be visiting the toilet too often.

Now, let’s talk about the good stuff.
PROS:

1. It’s cheap – in fact, I’d say it’s one of the cheapest among the major brands of protein powder. Depending on where I buy them, these can be anywhere from $20-$40 cheaper than the other brands I try.
2. There’s a ton of workout benefits – 30g of protein, BCAAs and EAAs, some creatine… this thing is loaded with other workout supplements that ends up making it a one-stop shop instead of having to buy all those supplements separately.

3. IT WORKS!!! – and this is the main reason I keep coming back to Nitrotech. It just hits different. Within 2-3 months of using Nitrotech I can immediately see my muscles look denser and thicker compared to when I’m using other protein powders. And that’s with me doing the exact same workout and diet routine. I’ve tried to stay away from this brand due to all the negative reasons I stated above but I keep coming back to it because I just don’t get the same results from other brands.

In the end, I don’t drink protein shakes for the taste or in order to eat “healthy”. You can drink veggie/fruit smoothies for that. I drink protein shakes to help me get jacked, and Nitrotech simply does this better than any protein shake I’ve tried. So this ends up being my #1 protein shake.

Mixes great and tastes even better workes great but price was jacked up from 87.00 to 129.00 with forced me to look elsewhere for a cheaper product
