Pros: Fast… Powerful… Ready for 3A gaming… Good for content creation… You will get everything as advertised. Cons: Failed to recognize a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor during the initialization process. You may need a 16:9 monitor to finish the initialization process before you can install or update display drivers. I’m not sure whether this is a Windows 11 issue or a MSI issue, but easily solvable. Overall Review: Brands of the parts (according to what I got):
MSI PRO Z890-P WIFI
Intel Ultra 9 285k
MSI RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS
Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB (2 x 16GB) RAM DDR5
Kingston SNV2S 2TB (not a good pick for a pc at this price…)
Liquid cooling, brand unknown but with MSI logo
PSU 850w, brand unknown
Case, brand unknown but with MSI logo
MSI Forge GK300 gaming keyboard
MSI Ultra-lightweight gaming mouse, product model unknown
Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Cable management is at or above average
Packaged carefully
This purchase is overall a very good deal, especially in view of the currently overpriced GPU market.

Overall Review: This pc is amazing. I’m running newer and high detailed games, I don’t even hear the fans at all. Seriously an amazing pc and the 5070ti is plenty.

Pros: Smooth. Quiet. Efficient. Cons: Lighting program (MSI Center) seems to lose track of the fan coloring after hibernating/restart/extended use.
MSI mouse had working clickers, but no optical light couldn’t move.
MSI keyboard has loose keys after 2 months, causing no input upon pressing unless you put pressure on the very top of the key. Overall Review: Will MSI quality hold up on this machine?
Dare I even attempt overclocking?
Is it fair to assume?

Pros: – Ordered the MSI Aegis RS2 with an Intel Ultra9 285K, RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5, and 2TB NVMetop-tier specs for gaming and VR.
– Liquid cooling and Windows 11 pre-installed make it ready to go out of the box.
– Neweggs website was easy to navigate, and the product listing was clear with detailed specs. Cons: – Shipping took much longer than expected. Ordered on June 16, 2025, and as of July 3, 2025, its still in the U.S. despite being destined for Japan.
– USPS tracking showed the package bouncing between states (Chicago, Omaha, Denver, San Francisco) instead of going to an international port, causing confusion.
– Lack of clear communication from Newegg about shipping delays or customs requirements for international orders. Overall Review: The MSI Aegis RS2 Gaming Desktop looks like a powerhouse based on its specs, and Im excited to use it for gaming and VR once it arrives. Neweggs platform made ordering straightforward, and the product details were spot-on. However, the shipping experience has been frustrating. The package, ordered on June 16, 2025, is still stuck in the U.S. as of July 3, with USPS tracking showing it moving between domestic facilities instead of heading to Japan. This suggests a misrouting or customs issue, but Newegg hasnt provided updates or guidance. For international orders, better tracking transparency and faster shipping would make a huge difference. Id still shop with Newegg, but they need to address these logistics issues to match their great product offerings.

Pros: The computer itself is holding up well. Fast and works without issue. Cons: There was a decent sized dent in the case which worried me, but after using this over a week it’s safe to say the dent is superficial (I couldn’t be bothered to return the item as there didn’t appear to be any damage to internal components). The mouse doesn’t impress me and the keyboard is just bad, with a non-standard layout for the Enter key, and a bad feel. Not sure why they would get a detail like the keyboard wrong. Overall Review: As long as you don’t care about getting a good keyboard and mouse with the product, everything else about this is working fine.

Pros: Non-functional green light on the brick is fine… Cons: I plugged it in, but it didn’t work. I used the cord from the other monitor, and it worked fine. Overall Review: I won’t be getting another. It claimed to be a direct replacement for my old unit

Pros: Playing anything from 2015 and before great, next gen see the cons… Cons: I’ve contacted both for what sounds like a belt sander in my computer playing anything post fallout 4 generation. Called, texted, and emailed both new egg and msi and both refuse to assist. I just got it had to crack it like an egg to check it and nothing. Zero support do not buy. Overall Review: Do. Not. Trust.

Pros: -Passed Prime95 and file copy testing.
-With Crucial memory, been working flawlessly for two months.
-5070 has been more than enough for my wife’s gaming needs.
-Well packaged and boxed. Clear directions. Cons: – cheap, crashing memory (T-Force Vulcan DDR5) Overall Review: Big misstep by MSI here. I’d steer away from any manufacturer that doesn’t say the type of memory they are shipping in their system. I recommend sticking with the brands you already know and trust.
I will say, I did not reach out to support for this issue. Replacing the RAM myself in 2 days for $89 at the time (Aug15) was way easier for me than playing the support game. The memory I switched the T-Force Vulcan DDR5 memory with that worked for me is Crucial Pro CP2K16G64C38U5B which as of today is $122.
