It includes (2) NVMe slots, Bios update button and mATX size is perfect for smaller cases.
I also like the MSI driver installation utility which popped up automatically right after boot.

The product itself is great, but Amazon completely ruined the experience with absolutely unacceptable handling. They shipped a delicate and expensive motherboard with zero protection — just the MSI box on its own, no outer box, no padding, nothing. This isn’t a minor oversight; it’s negligence. Any hit or drop could have destroyed it, and I’d be the one dealing with the consequences. For a company of Amazon’s size, this level of carelessness is embarrassing. If I’m paying this much, the bare minimum I expect is proper packaging. Extremely disappointed with Amazon Us and Australia

bought an open box like new MSI gaming Gen3, very satisfied with it, really like new condition, and no problems at all. And the board feels solid quality. It’s a budget choice, no wifi, no pcie Gen4, no ARGB LED support, and doesn’t support the small sized nvme drive, no onboard USB-C, no optical audio output, not a big issue.

I bought this motherboard as either my previous motherboard or power supply were dying (I replaced both to be safe)
The bios on this one isn’t super straight forward, likely not to the fault of MSI, I just need to learn it as I’ve never used a MSI motherboard before.
Holy storage batman, this thing comes with 2 M.2 SSD slots & 8, yes EIGHT SATA ports, none of which get disabled when using the M.2 slots, only a single PCI-E slot gets disabled if you use the 2nd M.2 slot. That’s insane, my old motherboard disabled half of my SATA ports when I only used one M.2 SSD.
Strengthened GPU socket & it has troubleshooting lights too. In my opinion, they really thought of everything with this motherboard & it seems to be built to last.
The only things that I didn’t quite enjoy was the IO shield being a pain to put on, & the RAM only has one tab holding each stick in place, It’s secure & I’ve had no issues but it didn’t feel right to me, I’m used to getting two clicks instead of one.
Overall, a great no BS motherboard made for use in the 2020’s instead of the 2010’s. Highly recommend if you can get it at an affordable price.
