“I’ve been using these filters daily in a standard No. 4 pour-over cone, and the fit is spot-on — no bunching or slipping. The paper is sturdy enough that it doesn’t collapse or tear, even when I’m brewing a full pot. They allow the coffee to drain evenly, producing a clean, smooth cup without sediment in the bottom. Compared to cheaper off-brand filters I’ve tried, these hold their shape much better and don’t leave a papery taste in the brew. If you’re particular about your morning coffee and want consistent results, these are a solid choice.”

They are paper filter, thick and strong. I have a Cuisinart that calls for the #4 filter but I use both the filter and basket to catch all the grounds. If you do that I would suggest just getting the #2 filters. The #4 will still work but are not necessary if using both baskets.
