I have a love-hate relationship with this vanilla syrup and the last one I bought that was also a different kind of vanilla. They are very sweet and I don’t really taste any vanilla flavor. If you add too much to try to get more vanilla flavor out of it, it will taste way too sweet. I use it in place of sweetener. For some reason. I do like it better than monk fruit or sucrose sweetener because sometimes I find them not sweet enough.

I’ve been trying to cut back on sugar, so I decided to give Matteo’s Barista Style French Vanilla syrup a try — and I’m pleasantly surprised! The flavor is smooth, lightly sweet, and adds a nice vanilla kick to my morning coffee without being overpowering or artificial. It blends well in hot and iced drinks, especially lattes and americanos.
I also appreciate that it’s zero calorie, keto-friendly, and doesn’t have that overly chemical aftertaste some sugar-free syrups do. That said, it’s just a touch less rich than traditional syrups with sugar, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 — but for a sugar-free option, it’s honestly one of the better ones out there.
The bottle is a good size and lasts quite a while. If you’re watching your sugar or following keto, this is a solid choice for adding a bit of indulgence to your coffee without the guilt.

i was worried that it would be a total waste of money after seeing some of the reviews. It was not only drinkable, but was fantastic. I added 5ml, and that was not enough, but when I doubled it to 10ml…. that was the right combo. It is going to be trial and error to find how much you need. I am on a diet where I cannot eat any grains (basically Keto, but not quite). This stuff allowed me to have a nice treat in the morning! I bought Pure Vanilla from Costco to replace this, but it is so good, I will be ordering again when the bottle gets half empty. Impressed with the company. French Vanilla is a great flavour!

Je pense que ça doit être ma dixième bouteille de cette marque 😅, donc clairement je l’adore.
Je la préfère largement à ce qu’on peut trouver en café, le goût vanille est vraiment bon.
Le seul petit reproche que je peux lui faire, c’est qu’elle est un peu trop sucrée. Du coup j’en mets très peu et ça me suffit largement.
Je l’utilise aussi en pâtisserie, pas seulement dans le café, et ça marche super bien.

Excellent! I’m gluten free due to celiac, and this syrup has become a staple! It’s not overly sweet, or artificial, synthetic flavoured at ALL! i add it to my hot chocolate and it gives me the same flavour as the Timmies French vanilla! Delicious in smoothies, great for adding extra vanilla profile in teas, coffee, or mixed drinks!
