i got this for the health benefits of extra fibre and plant based protein.
the texture is like ground up cereal…..you have to have this mixed with something else like a cereal or yogurt, otherwise, it’s really hard to drink. i tried to mix this with a drink and it’s just too grainy.
taste is not that great either, the girt and texture is overwhelming.

with the above said, if you are looking for the health benefits, it’s worth it, but the actual taste and texture is not my cup of tea.

Great product I have been using for years this just a much better way to purchase and have it delivered when I need it

OK THIS STUFF IS SO HELPFULL AT KEEPING ME FULL!! so much fibre! even with only 2 TBSP i put it in smoothies with the Amazing grass berry flavour supergreens powder and its super delicious! its definitly going to be gritty. even with a great expensive blender. but whos “chewing a smoothie” anyways . i will drink a smoothie with 1 cup tropical frozen fruit or berries , with cashew milk and the greens powder and a little truvia! and it keeps me full for hours! its helped me not grab junk food!
next flavor im going to try banana peanutbutter cocoa smoothie with the hemp yeah and cocont milk !

Very nice product.

I’ve tried a large number of other hemp proteins, some that cost far more and some that cost less. In each case like with most products there were good and bad things with each. After about three weeks of using this protein powder there’s nothing I can say that I dont like.

I can see where some have said it doesn’t taste much like chocolate, the taste here is very mild but it is chocolate. For me that’s perfect, I don’t desire to have an over powering flavour that would take over the taste of what I’m adding it to. I use it in smoothies as well as my morning seed/cereal breakfast concoction that’s held together by yogurt. It mixes in nicely for both breakfast and the smoothies.

This is a nice fine powder and I see this as a very high quality product. I’ve not found anything unwanted in it. I’ve not experienced any decline in muscle mass and its never left me feeling like I ate something that should have gone in the composter. I’ve actually had other hemp powders make me feel like that.

The container here is also nice, the wide mouth makes for easy scooping and it locks tight to keep moisture out. I’ll take this over some cheap plastic locking bag any day.

The listed contents are what drew me to this product, besides the fact that I’ve been using Manitoba Harvest hemp hearts for the last couple of years now (this company buys hemp products from local farmers in Alberta where I live so they support our provinces farmers which makes me feel better about buying it), because everything is organic. We try to stay away from as many chemicals as possible so we will always buy organic if there is the choice. The added sugar doesn’t bother me as its palm sugar which is far better for a person that the white death and we all need some sugars, especially if we can’t get enough fruits in a day.

Price wise, what I paid here is on par with some inferior products I’ve used which makes this a very good deal.
