There are mice out there that have insanely high DPI settings and other bells and whistles, but this wired mouse particularly at its price point is simply an excellent value – particularly on sale as it was in late 2020. Even if you aren’t a hardcore gamer, this mouse makes a premium general use mouse.

Logitech has been making computer accessories for years and has a reputation for quality. They continue to earn that reputation here. The mouse feels like a nice quality device, punching well above its price point. The mouse moves very smoothly on the desktop mouse surface I use and the buttons have a satisfying feel. The lighting is modest but tasteful and pleasant giving it a classy and not garish appearance. Again, the entire device looks and feels more expensive than it is.

It is rated at 8000DPI – I know that there are mice out there with 16000+ DPI but with the greatest respect to all the spec jockeys, this mouse at its highest setting is more accuracy than all but the best pro players could utilize. At the end of the day the DPI marketing numbers after a certain point comes down more to bragging rights than actual advantage in gaming for the vast majority of players. And it has a total of six buttons which can be set for specific usage which again is enough for most players.

It comes with the very robust and slick logitech software to tweak the settings of the mouse (unlike some other brands which have pretty clunky software) and no doubt that is thanks to the years of honing their product line. And like all the logitech products I have owned in the past, I have no doubt that they will continue to support with driver updates well into the future.

Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with this mouse or Logitech. Usually, you pay more for the Logitech brand but in this case the price is very reasonable for the quality you are getting here – if anything, its a true bargain. As an aside, I bought a logitech webcam about 10 years ago and not only is it still better than most the laptop cameras of today they STILL sell that model here on Amazon, such is the classic quality of that model. My point is, rather than agonize about claimed specs with some of the sketchy brands advertising here on Amazon, stick with Logitech and not worry about it safe in the knowledge you are getting a well made, executed, and priced wired gaming mouse.

UPDATE: Nov 18 2022. so my son plays a LOT of first person shooter games like overwatch and Fortnite and is pretty demanding on equipment. The mouse stopped working properly so I contacted support and got a new mouse. It was a a fairly painless experience and the new mouse works great. I see it’s on sale again for half price (~$25) and I’m ordering another one because I’m so pleased with this model.

I have medium sized hand and I’m a lefty, so those two specifications make finding a good mouse challenging. Forget sculpted grips for right-handed users. Some mice are way too huge for comfort. This works great for me. Buttons and wheel have great feel, and whatever setting you apply to the mouse are stored onboard of the mouse, so you can desinstall the Logitech bloatware if you wish after configuring the mouse to your liking – another key advantage for me.

Beyond casual gaming, I use this mouse for video editing, 3D work and graphic work – no issue and great comfort so far. Recommended if your needs resemble mine!

I absolutely love EVERYTHING about this mouse. Not too small, Cheap but good quality and not a lot of RGB. It has a good software to edit side buttons and lights. The first one I had broke 6 months after usage, but it got changed for free. I would forever keep re-buying this mouse. Truly impressing.
