Very useful!

I love using this can opener. It does what it says it does. You place it on the can and push the button on top and let it do its job. It grips the can, lifts up its body and the cutting blades works its way around the top of the can. It’s finished when its body lowers itself again and you hear the sound of the can opener change. The top comes off slightly differently than a regular can opener as it has been cut underneath. Either it will stick to the Kitchen Mama as you pick it up, or you can lightly pry off the lid with a fingernail or knife. The result is a much cleaner cut with no ragged edges.

I like it! Easy to use. I like that the cut edges are not sharp so you can toss the lids into recycling . I have had it for 6 months now, used it about 30 times. Still using the first battery.

Por el momento ha sido una buena experiencia. Tenía mis dudas por no ver opiniones de México, pero me ha funcionado como promete. Algunas veces no abre bien una lata, pero se soluciona facil al poner nuevamente el abrelatas en la sección que no se termino de cortar y listo (tener cuidado que no de vueltas de más porque puede dejar “pelitos” del aluminio, no me ha pasado, pero es lo que recomiendan).
Apróximadamente he abierto unas 20 latas desde que lo tengo, actualizare si me llega a fallar o me causa algún inconveniente.
El material es aceptable, se siente resistente para algunas caidas y el uso es bastante sencillo. Realmente no deja partes afiladas ni en la lata, ni en la sección que se desprende.

Very displeased. with the opener and customer service.

The device opened only 5 or 7 cans before it failed….again and again.
Tried multiple times and gave up on it. Contacted customer service to ask for help.
Told them:
A- It will not open anything. Tried 10oz to 28 oz cans. Size of can did not matter. They all failed.
B-Multiple passes around the can do not work.
C-It only slices a tiny bit into the can lip /edge even when I let it go around 2 or 3 times.
D-The gear mechanism grinds the can lip and makes sharp edges that cut my finger.
E- Over more than a week, and multiple e-mails, I explained everything to customer service in considerable detail.

Customer service seemed nice, but demanded both video and photos and I could only do part of that.
I did get photo into my e-mail but could not get video to transfer from phone. I seldom do this so I do not know why. but several videos were made and nothing would transfer.

When I could not meet their demand customer service insisted I try outside agencies and applications that I never use. They suggested nothing would be done until their own investigation proved the device was faulty.
I consider my phone a private thing and will not put on applications I know nothing about so I read all of that as meaning I would get to keep a useless opener and they would keep my money.
At that point I gave up trying to deal with their customer service and told them I had asked Amazon for return authorization.

The worthless opener has been returned.
The cut on my finger has healed.

I recommend NEVER BUY these things.

Easy to use and works well. This is the first electric can opener I have ever used. I’ve always had manual can openers. I’m really glad I got this to replace my can opener that stopped working plus the manual ones are so hard to clean and get all gunged up. I think it’s safe to use as you don’t need to hold it or mess with it. The lid comes off with a smooth edge around the can and you can placed on top of the can if you have any left overs in there and because of the way it’s trimmed around the edge, it can be used to cover left over food as a lid. This is really good value for money and I won’t be going back to manual can openers again. This can opener is easy to store away, mine is in the curler drawer.
