It was fine for over a year, but its adjustable head and joint that holds the microphone wasn’t strong enough for the weight of my Shure SM7B and can not hold it in place anymore. But it should be fine for other lighter mice.

Product Review: Sturdy and Adjustable, But Some Cheap Parts
Overall, this mic desk mount works great for my needs. It’s sturdy, easy to install, and offers impressive adjustability. Once set up, it holds my microphone well, and as long as I’m not moving it around too much, it does the job.
That said, there are a couple of issues. The plastic covers underneath the long bar sections are cheaply made and broke almost immediately—I had to tape them in place. I’ve also noticed that in certain positions, there’s a bit of play, and no matter how much I tighten the nuts, I can’t get it to feel completely locked in.
Despite those minor flaws, I’m generally happy with it. If you need a mic mount that stays mostly in one position, this is a solid choice.

Got this for my Blue Yeti and it’s been great for the price. The white looks clean on my desk and the low profile design doesn’t get in the way of my monitor like taller arms do.
Build quality is decent – joints hold position well once tightened properly. The built-in cable channels keep the USB cable tidy, though they’re a bit tight for thicker XLR cables if you ever upgrade. The 360° rotation is smooth and it reaches everywhere I need it to.

Works like a charm. For anyone who’s looking into mic arm with a solid build and material this is a great choice. Works well with my needs and looks esthetically clean for my set up. Horizontal and vertical movement are solid and will not sag overtime, you can also adjust the tension of the movement. Overall good

Been using the Xtech stand for a few months now (bought it in late 2023). Works beautifully with my setup. Previously used an overhead-type boom mic and it would interfere with at least one of my monitors. With the “Lizard” stand, it fits right under my left monitor and I can push it back under when not using it. Cable channel works well, and it holds the mic at just the perfect angle for me. Pictured here is the Shure Beta 58 mic, but I had also rented a Shure SM7B for a couple of months, and that mic worked really well with the stand as well.
Note – for my setup, I drilled a hole for the base of the mic, rather than using the edge-clamp. Looks much cleaner this way (did the same for the Ergotron monitor stand). Only thing that would make this better would be if the Mic cable could somehow snake through the joints and through the mounting base so it is completely invisible.

After snaping the ball joint on the screw that mounts the mic (previous plastic formula), the conpany reached out and supplied me with 2 of the new mounts they make and assured me all the new products are better reinforced. The plastic underneath that holds the cords into the arm actually lock into place if pushed firmly. Good quality arm. Little short, had to buy an extender of 3 inches for the microphone attachment. No damage to desk from mounting. Firm and solid. Good price.

Dopo aver provato diversi bracci per microfono, l’IXTECH Lizard Pro è finalmente quello giusto. La qualità costruttiva è eccellente: robusto, ben bilanciato e con movimenti fluidi e silenziosi. Nessuno scricchiolio o scatto fastidioso, non ha nulla da invidiare all’Elgato che si fa pagare molto di più.
La pinza da scrivania è molto solida e tiene tutto fermo senza danneggiare la superficie. Supporta senza problemi il peso del mio microfono (RODE Podmic) che rimane perfettamente in posizione. Comodo da muovere, basta svitare leggermente e riposizionarlo dove si preferisce.
Il design è moderno ed elegante, perfetto anche per setup minimal o professionali. Davvero soddisfatto dell’acquisto – consigliatissimo a streamer e podcaster.
