These are amazing and have to stop myself from buying too many because I get simply way too carried away. I may have bought back to back boxes within an entire week. They are a little smaller than I remember, but delicious, soft, and so flavorful. They’re very sugary, but they’re amazing with a cup of coffee/tea. I love these and have to give myself breaks from buying them or it gets completely out of hand.

I’ve never had these before and my sweet tooth was yelling at me, so I decided to try them.
They definitely are too sweet for me, but I must say that they were fresh and very tasty. Sometimes prepackaged items like this can have a processed taste but I didn’t find that to be the case. The icing wasn’t artificial tasting and the cake was moist. Even though I found them too sweet for me, they’re worth having around for those sweet/chocolate cravings.

I can remember Hostess cupcakes growing up and always loved them. I hadn’t had them in many years so I thought I would revisit them. The cupcakes are still pretty good. There are 4 packages of 2 cupcakes per package. I thought the chocolate taste was pretty good. The cake itself tasted decent and wasn’t dry. The chocolate icing was generous but a little sweet. I bought these when they were on sale at 2 for $5.00 which I felt was a really good price. Only sad thing was that the cupcakes were a bit small. True you do get two per package which is fine for one person. However, these cupcakes are fun to share so it would be nice if they were a little bigger. I give them a definite like.
