I had a pretty awesome stationary filtered shower head that my partner and I enjoyed in our home for over three years, but I decided I wanted something handheld to help while cleaning the shower & rinsing items in the shower space instead of using a cup lol
I know these water filters aren’t magic, and about the best they’re doing is taking out chlorine, but it gives me some piece of mind that the water is passing through something rather than nothing.
This is a fantastic option for those who want the benefits of a large shower head while stationary, but the portability of a handheld system. The diameter is a decent size (not too large, but not too small where you’re huddling for warmth/coverage), with plenty of settings to suit anyone’s preferences. While there are very minute tactile differences in how the water feels to me (relative to my old shower head), this shower head certainly improved my rather shoddy apartment water pressure. It’s on par with my old shower head, which is impressive since the water has to travel through the hose now
The price is great and my experience so far has been enjoyable, but here is the one issue. Because the diameter of the shower head is so large, moving the shower head around can be cumbersome. That, coupled with a lack of a grip on the smooth handle of the showerhead means that it’s not the most comfortable shower head to use with soapy and wet hands. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it may feel a little clunky to those who aren’t used to a handheld shower head or are used to the more typical smaller handheld ones.
All in all, I would recommend it for the price, ease of installation, and quality
