I’m so happy I came across these scissors. Henckels is a quality brand. I generally use these scissors in the kitchen but they are wonderful for other applications as well (cutting paper, tape, etc.). They are very well made and quite sturdy. Cleaning them is a breeze as they come apart for washing in the dishwasher. The blades are sharp and so far haven’t required any sharpening. Highly recommend.

I have an older pair of the same scissors, which have plastic knobs on both sides of the pivot. When I received this item, I noticed that the pivot is covered on only one side. I returned it, assuming it was defective. However, upon receiving a replacement, I noticed the same issue. It seems this design choice is intentional, allowing the blades to be detachable (as suggested in the title). Including a picture of the other side would help eliminate any confusion.
