I wanted a simple design that would eliminate the tacky plastic refill tube that usually comes with toilet paper rolls. This didn’t disappoint. In fact, I went ahead and ordered a second one for our second bathroom in the brushed nickel colour. I had previously tried to find one in store and had no idea how much these things cost. It’s highway robbery for what it is. I took a step back and decided to check online. I really like the simple design of this one and it is a sturdy, high-quality piece. It was easy to install and I don’t anticipate having to replace it for a long time. I would purchase it again… As I said, I already have. What more can be said? It’s for holding toilet paper. Good value and does the job for an affordable price.

Needing to replace a really tacky open-end holder, I’ve been very pleased with this new one. It’s solid metal, very sturdy, and finished in nice silky black. Mounting is a breeze, using the enclosed template. Even the packaging was elegant – the holder came embedded in cut-out foam, like a precision instrument.
I do have a few small comments…
* The holder is quite wide – a standard toilet roll will be able to slide side-to-side by over an inch. No idea why the bar was made this wide. It’s not a problem in any way, just a bit odd.
* The way you load the roll onto the bar is worth thinking about. The bar is split about an inch from one end; you tilt it up to slide the roll on. No big deal – except my mounting location happened to be under an overhanging counter top. This creates a bit of a squeeze when I’m getting a new roll onto the bar. Again, not a problem, even in my rather odd configuration – just something to be aware of.
* The bar is mounted on two posts, which slip over steel brackets secured to the wall by two screws each – a system commonly seen with things like towel-rails. However, because the main bar that holds the toilet roll is split, you do have to be careful to align the two posts accurately, in both angle and distance. Otherwise, the bar won’t lock down nice and straight. Just something to watch out for during installation.
* Finally, you should be aware that the bar holds your toilet roll at a fixed distance from the wall. A holder that swivels downward can keep the roll against the wall, giving constant friction as the roll is used up. Whereas a holder like this one keeps the roll at a constant distance from the wall, leaving it always free to spin. This gets particularly noticeable when the roll is mostly used up.
Again, none of these details are particularly problematic. Overall, this is a really good product, much stronger and more elegant than I expected. And a significant step up from the holder it replaced.

Easily the best toilet paper holder I’ve ever used. Installation was a breeze with the included screw hole template. Feels like anodized black, should hold up well to scartches, and looks great. The swivel to change rolls is simple and non-fusy unlike spring-operated holders, and if it loosens over timr you can simply tighten the bold in the back so I think this unit will last a LONG time. Seriously, this is the one to buy.

I bought 4 of these to replace all my bathrooms toilet paper holders. They were very easy to install. The guide in the box was perfect. They provide wall anchors and screws. I only used the provided anchors and screws for one bathroom that was on drywall. The rest went into cabinets and I need much shorter screws. These are so easy to load the toilet paper onto and all of them lined up perfectly. I did all 4 in 30 min.
