So we got this shower head because the one we had just didn’t have enough pressure. To me the flow reducer should always be optional to put in. Thankfully this shower head was designed that way. In the box you get the shower head, the hose, the shower head mount/connector, a small roll of Teflon tape, an extra rubber washer, the dreaded flow reducer, and some very simple but sufficient installation instructions.
The results were impressive, as the new showerhead significantly improved water pressure compared to its predecessor. The handheld showerhead boasts six invigorating spray options, each providing a wonderful shower experience. Adjusting the settings is a simple task—just move the lever near the corner of the handle however many clicks it takes to reach the one. For those dealing with low to moderate water pressure, like myself, this upgrade is a game-changer for shower time.

Excellent Pressure, this shower head was so easy to install. The detachable hose fit perfectly as a replacement for the previous shower head, no help from husband required !

Beware! The switch at the back of the head sends a very high pressure force of water out the front of the head for cleaning. I mistakenly tried it while it was mounted the first time I showered and cleaned the bathroom ceiling, wall and top of the linen cupboard! Not my intention but it did a terrific job!

I bought this shower head to replace an aging one that still works, but with shorter hose that isn’t very convenient at times.

The shower head was easy to install as they really all should be, given the natural of the product. The shower head itself is packed inside a pouch which is a nice touch and unexpected.

The hose is (2.4m/8ft) longer than the usual/average 5-6ft which is the one of the main reasons for the purchase. The hose appears to be well-made and of quality material. As with most stainless steel products nowadays, it’s difficult to determine its quality and only time will tell; whether it will last and/or rust.

The 2nd reason for the purchase was the 6 (more like 5 actually as the last one is ‘close’) functions which most of the products here do (a few of ’em only have 3 though). If you look closely, the placement for the nozzles for this particular product is different than all others while having sufficient number of nozzles. I’m not saying this is the best (far from it) but the fact that some others have exactly the same nozzle placement/shape but sold by/from different brand/vendors made me think that only one of them is the real thing and others are just knock-offs, as it usually is the case with many other products. With that in mind, I tend to avoid buying the same (or nearly identical) products that’s sold under multiple brands unless I have no choices/selections.

The last remaining reasons for the purchase are inevitably the cost which is just under $20 and the CUPC (Canadian Uniform Plumbing Code) certification. Interestingly enough, if you look closely at the certificate included in the purchase, it states that it’s actually “void after April 2019” which means this is no longer valid! When I did a search from the official website of IAPMO, I was even more surprised to find that I can’t even find the certificate number (and in this case, it’s the file # which is MC-10053). What this implies is that either the certificate I received was forgery or expired certificate is no longer searchable. I’m hoping the seller can clarify what’s happened here.

For this reason, I’d have to rate this product with a max of 3 stars. If i can’t trust the seller, I can’t trust their product.

I’ll update the review if and when more info or explanation is given with respect to the certificate issue.

It’s been nearly 6 months since the purchase and it’s been without issues so far. I also just saw seller’s comment regarding IAPMO (as no notification was sent from amazon) and was able to find the certificate aforementioned. I’ve also added a few pictures.

Given the current status (no major issues and no leaking etc) of the product as well as updated comment from the seller regarding the product, I believe this showerhead set is worthy of higher rating at the moment and have updated it accordingly.

Very pleased with this item. I looked hard at the reviews and chose this because of them. It is sturdy and well constructed with a good range of spray patterns. The hose is extra long which is useful if you need a long reach, although personally I would have preferred a shorter hose. The only downside for use is that because of the solid metal construction and the extra long hose (when full of water) makes it more heavy to hold than plastic alternatives. This shower head came from America to the UK, but was still cheaper than most of the locally available ones, and much better quality. Recommended.
