I ordered two Arduino boards for my kitchen LED project. The first one arrived and worked awesome, and I was really happy with it. I decided to split the project into two boards, so I ordered a second one. It came in the same packaging, and I uploaded the same code from the first board. However, it didn’t work as expected. I tried redoing the code, but the issue persisted. After making several changes, I discovered that some of the pins on the board were “damaged” or linked to neighboring pins, which caused the unexpected behavior. Once I found a working pin, everything started to work fine. In my case, pins 1-6 were damaged.
Despite the issue with the second board, I was still able to get the project up and running after troubleshooting. It was a bit frustrating to encounter this problem, especially since the boards arrived in identical packaging, so it wasn’t clear there would be any difference in quality.
Overall, the first board worked great, and once I figured out the issue with the second one, everything went smoothly. However, because of the damaged pins on the second board, I’m giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. Still, I would recommend it to others, as long as they’re prepared for possible troubleshooting.

Used this for a fan controller to run a 25khz duty cycle based on some digital temperature probes and its working fine. No issues with programming it or while running. I used my own USB cable for programming (not the one provided) as I read it may be faulty (and I already have a bunch of USB A to B cables). But if it works, nice on them to include one in the box.
Black PCB makes it look really great, especially in acrylic cases. The writing on the sides of the pins is also handy. I think the only downside I noticed is that the headers are not fully connected across (empty pins are missing) thus not giving them the same strength as a genuine arduino. But its a minor complaint and once you have a shield on or have your leads plugged in, it doesn’t matter anymore.

These are a great and inexpensive option for the arduino platform. These are easy to use. There are a ton of tutorials out there that will get you started right away. I use these to prototype as well as make complete projects. They have always performed well. I do not often do projects that use most or all of the pins, usually I use about half of them and have never had an issue with the board.
