These are pretty typical ESP32 development boards (WROOM-32). If you’re considering these I assume you know what they are, so here are the few things to take note of: These are the 30 pin variety, and they have a micro-USB port. These are the best value for fast arduino compatible boards. Teensy boards will outperform them, but, Teensy boards are much more expensive. If you have a project that needs more than one board, get these. If you have a project that needs maximum speed, get a Teensy instead. The size, value, WiFi connectivity and functionality of these is perfect for Smart Home applications like ESPHome. They are easy to learn and fun to use. Enjoy.

these are quality chips. my wife had to deal with university hand me down esp32s and let’s just say bad experience. These work flawlessly and the power supply and data transfer port is solid. Unlike the no name units. elegoo is a good brand
