Seriously though, I really don’t like the flaky salmon that is boneless and skinless. It has this weird funky texture that feels like eating melted mushy salmon that was dumped in a blender!
I’m an old school kind of guy. I like my salmon whole and with bones and skin! Definitely will not order these again. Ocean salmon is the best!
I bought 213g version that has bones and skin intact. It’s more tasty than ever. Get to bite into a chunky piece of meat. It’s so good that I bought 2 batches!

Not worth it for the bland taste and loss of nutritional value because the bioavailable calcium and most of the omega-3 fish oil (in the skin!) has been removed!
Tastes watery and awful can’t even tell it’s sockeye compared to the old style whole cut canned salmon familiar for decades.
Note drained weight says right on can is only 100 grams. So very expensive.
For less than $2 more, $7/can one can buy that old style canned sockeye 213g can with skin & bones intact.
Price looks fair on amazon, as chain name food stores out here are selling it for up to $8!

Delicious salmon, top of the line product. Makes a great sandwich or if you use two cans, and add an egg and some type of breadcrumbs that you like, such as Pastene, you can make a salmon loaf. I also add an egg and an smsll amount of Miracle Whip. I sometimes add a small amount of vinegar and chopped onion, Vidalia if I can get it, and bake it until it sets at about 375-425 for about 30 minutes. Lovely with a salad and a side of corn! Yum, yum!
