I recently purchased the Casio Men’s Diver Style Stainless Steel Watch (Model: MTPVD01D-2BV) with the blue dial, and I’m really happy with it! Here’s my review:

Pros:

Good Quality for the Price: Casio is known for offering great quality at affordable prices, and this watch is no exception. It feels solid and well-built, with no flimsy parts. The stainless steel is durable and comfortable to wear.

Easy to Read Dial: The blue dial is vibrant and easy to read, with large hour markers and hands that make it clear to tell time at a glance. The simple, clean design ensures great visibility.

Cons:
Basic Features: While this watch is great for everyday wear, it doesn’t have additional features like a date function or chronograph. However, for the price, this is understandable, and the simplicity is actually part of its charm.

Not a huge watch fanatic but I can appreciate style, build quality and comfort which this ticks all those boxes. I wanted to get more into watches but wasn’t sure if I’d like nor wanted to break the bank on an expensive automatic watch, so decided to start with this. Works well, looks great.

For it’s price the quality is good but you can tell after some daily use, the band starts to get scratched up quite easily. Nothing that takes away from it’s looks but definitely noticeable.

Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a watch or as a gift for someone else.

Unbeatable value for the price (I paid $35CAD before taxes). Cannot get better for an all metal watch from a reputable brand like Casio at this price. Looks good, 50m water resistance, and is accurate as any quartz.

I wear it nearly everyday and it has lit a burning fire of an insatiable watch obsession.

It cost me nearly half the price of the watch to get the bracelet fitted, so maybe learn the skills there. Just shows how good value the watch is though.

Some minor things to be aware of:
– it has an ion plated brass case, watch experts say the finish will be less durable over time(say 2 years). In the month I’ve owned it I haven’t noticed any marks at all. For the price, this is more than acceptable there are many more expensive watches also made of brass.
– the bezel does not rotate by design (unless you’re a diver, or a watch snob, who cares)
– the second hand sometimes slightly misses the second markings on the right side. Other times it hits them all. Not a huge issue and only an obsessive wearer would notice.

Cannot recommend this watch enough to anyone who is new to watches and just wants something that looks good and keeps good time.

Amazing quality and style for this price. Highly recommended if one does not chase “prestige” brands, just functionality and style.
