Casio Men’s Digital Watch

Its larger than what the description says. Its 48.5mm. Not 43mm or wherever it says… Which I knew. 43mm would have been way to small. Got this used in excellent condition. Totally worth it. You can’t get a G-shock for 65$ nowadays… Very happy!!

I originally got this watch back in 2016 and have been wearing it since! (Its 2019 now!)
First off I wanna say that it fits on my wrist perfectly, even after my wrists got a little bit thicker. It has been through SOOO much the last 3 years I wore it! I mean I’ve gotten it caught in a lot of things, its been dunked into dirty greasy sinks, even gone rock climbing on an actual rocky cliff, its even been accidentally dropped from high places and landed on some pretty hard surfaces, and was even exposed to some pretty high temperatures, and I mean desert heat, and even was a few inches away from a camp fire and aside from a few nicks and minor cosmetic damage (and I mean the strap came loose once because I got my hand caught pretty bad and put a lot of force to get it out) the watch itself is still kicking, the strap wasn’t even that hard to fix, and I have never once had to change the battery within these 3 years!
If I were to put money on how much longer it would last, I would say aside from maybe changing the battery every few years if not more then 5, the watch would still be perfectly running even when I’ll be in my death bed!
but I wouldn’t recommend burning it since it is made of a rubbery material after all.
It is unfortunate that I’m gonna have to change it for a new watch soon since I feel like I’ve grown out of it but I would recommend this watch to anyone who’s not looking to spend a lot of money on a watch and wants it to last a lifetime!

I originally bought the black & gold DW-9052 a few months ago, but I ultimately decided to get rid of that one and went with this classic black & red colour.

This watch is as basic as any other base model G-Shock, with your standard one alarm with hourly chime, countdown timer, and stopwatch. This watch model still has the electroluminescent backlight, in comparison to the 5600 and 6900. The buttons are very easy to press on this watch, when compared to other G-Shocks. It wears very comfortable on the wrist as well. The watch is a good size for those with small and large wrists.

Fun fact about this watch, it’s one of the four watches (other ones include the DW-5600, DW-6900, and the DW-6600) that have a NATO stock number assigned to it, meaning that it’s a G-Shock that’s been thoroughly tested for standard military use.

The only flaw about this watch is the display is a bit small, so it may be a bit troublesome to look at the display for those that don’t have the best eyesight.

Overall, this is a great watch for those looking to get a durable watch and want something different than the G-Shock square.

Excelente G-Shock a un precio muy interesante, Un modelo sencillo, pero robusto, de un tamaño medio pero muy cómodo de llevar. La hebilla de la correa es de metal, un detalle importante, ya que los modelos nuevos suelen traerla ya de plástico, exceptuando los modelos de gamas superiores. La iluminación es una delicia y super cómoda de pulsar con el botón central “G “Es un modelo de los que ya van quedando pocos en stock y que no debe faltar en tu colección de G-Shock. 100% recomendable.
