The best can opener, I ever used. My first one was without “auto stop”, my second is – full package. Well designed, reliable and easy to use. I also like the hook it comes with to keep it easy to access.

This can opener has been amazing and one of the best purchases my family has made in quite some time. I love that it is super easy to use and safely removes the lid of the can (it is tough to cut yourself with the removed lid). When my in-laws were here visiting, they were playing with my can opener since they thought it was so neat and loved that it is far easier to use than a manual can opener or the traditional bulky ones that we are used to keeping on our counters. I also love that it can easily fit in a drawer, which means I have less clutter on my counter. I also love that it isn’t something that stays constantly plugged in since it is rechargeable. honestly, I don’t even know how long the battery will last since I am currently still at 90% battery after using it constantly for the past month.

When it comes to overall functionality and durability, I believe this can opener surpasses anything I have owned in the past two decades. It has fallen to the floor a few times, and it honestly just doesn’t care. It honestly works every time without issue. My only complaint with the machine is that it isn’t as intuitive to use as I had thought. You can’t just pick it up and use it. I only understood how to use it after watching a video. While cutting the can is easy, removing the can with the small opener at the bottom isn’t. My husband made a huge mess the first time since he didn’t know how to use it. Overall, though, this was pretty easy to fix. While it may have been a bit pricey for a can opener, I consider it very much worth the money!

We’ve bought two of these, the second as a gift after really liking the first. They’re solid and feel good in the hand. The charge lasts forever. They’re easy to mount — no hardware, just stick on — and they work like a charm: a clean cut all the way round, then the lid remover to hook it off. We chose the one with the auto-stop, and I think it’s worth it. We also researched and considered other cheaper types and are glad we went with this one.

I could not come to terms with paying this much for a “can opener”, so I asked Santa for it instead and he happily obliged. I now know paying this much for THIS can opener is absolutely justified!! This sucker is awesome! Not only does it slice the top open with ZERO sharp edges – not on the lid and not on the can – but when it finishes cutting, it not only automatically stops the blade, but it also retracts and then reverses itself ever so slightly. Just enough to make picking it up and off the can so easy. Due to chemotherapy, my fingertips don’t work as well as they used to, so I opt to use the “hooky grabber” on the end to assist getting the lids off of the cans. That part alone is what really solidified my borderline inappropriate love for this tiny appliance. It is mine, and I shall love it, and care for it, and pet it.
