It’s my first body cam, so I dont have much experience to compare it with, but I’m pleasantly surprised by its capabilities.
Camera comes with two batteries and a charging station. The station can charge the camera and the spare battery simultaneously. Additionally, the camera has a USB-C port and can be charged without the docking station.
Reasonable battery life, got 5 hours recording on single battery at 4k, totaling 10 hours of run time with both batteries.
Biggest highlight for me was the night mode. The tiny infrared LEDs light up the surroundings very well, performing perfectly outdoors and even better indoors
The only downside is the relatively low bitrate of 10 Mbps, which affects the overall video quality. However, for a fraction of the cost of professional-grade cameras, I can’t complain.

Came with additional battery. Unfortunately, within 4-6 months both batteries were drained and now no longer hold charge. Footage is also blurry, with additional graininess when unit is in vehicle mode.

At first glance, I was a bit surprised by the size of this device, but once I unboxed it, I realized it was actually quite compact—not nearly as bulky as the photos suggest. This is a major plus because it fits comfortably on my belt without weighing me down. As a security guard, having reliable video proof during conflicts is invaluable, and this item delivers exactly that. The video quality is impeccable, and the sound is very clear, even during tense situations.
I’ve frequently used the night mode, and I’m amazed at how well it captures footage in low light. Images look super crisp. The setup was a breeze. I found it very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through the various functions.

This CAMMHD V8 body camera has exceeded my expectations. The 4K video quality is crisp and clear, and the audio recording works great even in busy environments. With the 256GB storage, I don’t worry about running out of space, and the battery life lasts long enough for extended use. It’s easy to mount and operate, and the overall build feels durable. Highly recommend for personal security, rideshares, or outdoor activities!
