Nice Benyar watches, I bought a couple, the look good but the original batteries die within a year.

I initially ordered this watch over ten days ago—but it never materialised (for reasons never explained by the delivery company), so I cancelled the order. I ended up ordering it again, though, because it was hands-down the best-looking of all those on offer on Amazon.ca (and on the websites of local suppliers). Fortunately, this one arrived within a day, as promised.
I wasn’t disappointed. This is a seriously handsome watch—one of those rare items that look even better in reality than in the ad.
The aesthetic experience begins with its tasteful packaging within a display box, as befitting a piece of jewellery.
The watch itself has reassuring solidity and heft. The crystal (glass front), bezel and other components appear to be of high quality. It clearly shows the time in the dark, and although I’ve had it for only a day, it appears to be maintaining accuracy. Be advised that the case is fairly large (1.75″ diameter).
Its only apparent drawback (not enough to deny it a 5-star review) is that the date-setting mode of the knob (crown) is very delicate, so it can easily slip into time-setting mode, instead. That, and the word “Tachymeter” is misspelled “Tachymetre” in a well-intentioned but misguided attempt to adhere to British spelling. The English of the manual also needs some proofreading (“Rotata the knob”, “requited time”, and various typos in the spelling of “crown”). But if those niggles don’t bother you, I warmly recommend it.
