One of the downfalls of elongated bowls is that the seat has a tendency to move side to side after a few miles have been put on it. After much research, I purchased the Bemis 7850TDG based on videos produced by the company and posted on Amazon. It seems a bit over the top to say the seat is comfortable, after all, it’s not like you are going to spend long periods of time on it, BUT, it is well engineered for the purpose.
What I enjoyed the most from this seat was the ease of installation and seeing how it was installed, it is the best fitting seat for the toilet. No loose fittings inside the hinge clamp, and a unique fitting that ensures it will stay locked and not twist.
The manufacturer says it is a commercial product, and I believe it. Very well made with an eye to maintenance.
It is worth the five stars I gave it!
