We just renovated our bathroom and I am SO glad this is the toilet we went with. The self opening lid, auto flushing, self cleaning, bidet and heated seat features are so nice to have and work amazing. Not having to worry about cleaning the toilet before people are over is the icing on the cake! Definitely worth the investment.

I don’t know what the other reviewers are thinking but this thing makes itself dumb by trying to be too smart, and is missing all the basic things that make a decent toilet.

Let’s talk about being a decent toilet:
1) Make it warm before you sit on it. Sure it has a seat heater, but you need to be on it for a good 5 minutes before it warms. Your night time experience will be a cold one.
2) God forbid you take too long to pee because that smart seat will decide you should be done and decide to whack you on the wee wiggly. It will absolutely not take no for an answer and will absolutely close no matter how much you brace.
3) “Rim-less” design should be interpreted to mean, “if you ever have to plunge, there is no rim to keep the bad stuff in”. The disaster this thing creates will make you want to re-paint the room.
4) You will be plunging often. There just isn’t enough flush power to manage what a toilet needs to manage.

Too smart, makes this thing really dumb:
This thing actually has its own personality and opens with hopeful exuberance whenever you are remotely near it. It flashes a rainbow of color, probably to prove that it can, but by pressing an obscure combination of the feminine button, rear wash button, ambient light button and on/off button you can make the lid pop up and down until somehow luck makes it turn off. Doing this 64 times will get me any color I want. And finally, when you decide to clean up the mess from plunging or lean over the toilet to grab a new roll of paper, of course the seat will jump right up and gonk you in the head because this is a really, really, smart toilet.

The only really good news about this toilet is I get to kick it… once to open the lid, once to lift the seat, once to close the seat, and once to close the lid, every…. single…. time… I want to pee.

A toilet with an odd personality I could live with, but I’ll suggest you think about buying a toilet that’s designed to be a toilet rather than this thing.

The toilet of THE FUTURE! I recently picked up this toilet for a bathroom addition I did to my home and it was a great choice. This toilet packs so many features at a reasonable price and it all works great. The heated seat is fantastic, and the built in bidet feature is really nice with both rear and feminine wash options. I really like that it supports cleaning tablets that make the water blue. It’s always keeping my toilet bowl looking and smelling clean. This toilet also has foam shield which is quite nice at reducing odour while using the toilet.

The motion sensor to lift up the seat is also really useful and I like that you can change the sensitivity of the sensor, which made this toilet adapt well to the small bathroom that I have. Now my seat only lifts up when I physically tap the side of the toilet. The remote control also is really easy to use which was nice to see!

I was happy to see how well packaged it was also, everything arrived safely through Amazon.

This toilet makes going to the bathroom an absolute pleasure!

I’m judging this based on function and features and appearance as I have not had an opportunity to use it because it hasn’t been installed professionally. I think it’s extremely attractive and it comes with every feature I can imagine including the child seat. I love the idea of being able to control the temperature of the water and I love the size and length of it and height.

I never knew a toilet could have so many useful, luxury features until now. At first I was going to replace my old toilet with a standard new one until I came across this one. For only a slightly higher price, it comes with all the bells and whistles that work great! For example, the:

-Heated seat: I figured it would take a few minutes or so to warm up—nope. The second you sit down, it’s good to go (and has different heat setting options based on personal preference.
-Nightlight/backlight: Perfect for using in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. No need to turn on the bright light and strain your eyes. It offers enough light to see and aim with precision.
-Foot sensor: Talk about hygiene. You literally never need to touch the toilet seat, ever. I’m still getting down the double-kick rhythm to lift all seats, but it works great. And when you’re done, you kick again to close all the lids and automatically flush.
-Automatic seat closing and flushing: Tired of kids or people not flushing and leaving the seat up? No problem. This toilet automatically closes and flushes after no activity after about a minute. Never walk into the bathroom with unwanted surprises again.

And finally:
-The bidet/dryer: I’ve never used one of these before and was a bit hesitant at first, but now I understand the purpose and never want to go back to a regular toilet again. It’s the most hygienic, easy way to clean up that actually saves money and your sewage system in the long-run. I didn’t even think of these factors before, but after using for a few weeks that’s become clear. The pressure works so well that the amount of toilet paper you need is minimal if at all, especially because it has the drying feature). And if you are the type of person who uses wipes too, this works even better, and you don’t need to worry about long-term sewage problems anymore. Almost every plumber I’ve talked too has told me how damaging wipes are over time even if they claim to be flushable.

To ***roughly*** assess if the value is worth it try doing this math/calculation based on how much your household spends on each of these things yearly:

1. Toilet paper + wipes + any plumbing maintenance = $x
2. Multiply that amount by 5-10 years (how long a toilet should last)
3. Add that amount to price of a standard toilet
4. Subtract that total from cost of this toilet

While everything is working great now, I hope it will continue for years to come without any issues. Like any product with more features (e.g. cars), there always more that can go wrong with it in time.

Last thing to note: My house was built in the late 60s, and this toilet was still compatible with standard layout dimensions. I never changed out a toilet before, but I was able to do this one myself. I had to buy a few custom parts, but that was because my drain system, not the toilet.

We purchased this smart toilet to finish our ensuite reno. We are very pleased with the overall quality of the Bazyths smart toilet. We ordered the ZY760A model. The delivery was seamless and on time. Our plumber was very impressed with the Bazyths bidet toilet. He said it was easy to install. We had an issue with the seat not opening all the way and closing unexpectedly. Customer service support was very fast to respond and solve our problem. Highly recommend this product.
